Workdesk Hump Day

I hope you didn't come here looking for thrills, chills and excitement because we ain't got them kind of shenanigans here. What we have is a really dull workdesk.  You may notice the two different stains on the blotter.  One is from me smacking a teardrop inkpad down to see if it had been sullied by a darker color (the jury is still out) and the other is an inky paw print.  Not sure where that came from....
And here's a long view of the crafty side of the room. I'm still pondering where that inky paw print could have come from.  I guess sometimes mysterious things happen.
My friend sent me this fabulous card in a box.  And I made a mistake of showing it to my others friends and saying they aren't that hard to make.  Guess who is teaching a card in a box card later this month? <grin>
The Fine Print: Why yes, detective that very cat in the photograph was seen exiting the scene of the crime right after the inky paw print appeared. Further inspection of the cat revealed an inky foot.  He says he was framed...  Kid stamps "Costume Parade" and polka dot paper by A Muse Studio.

Hmm... I'm not sure the framing argument is going to cut much ice with a jury - pretty much nailed by the evidence.

As ever, I'm befuddled by your tidiness!! Wouldn't dream of sharing how mine looks at the moment (imagine a cyclone having passed through and you won't be far off).

I don't call that desk DULL . . . I call it wonderfully TIDY! Oh you made my heart sing at all that neatness.

Wot cat? I can't see no cat! Or a frame!

Hi Judy! LOL - have you ever thought about using your cat's paws as a stamp? I'm sure s/he wouldn't mind! Obviously interested in crafting, so might as well make use of it. Lovely cards in a box! Looks like a lot of fun to make and receive! Have wonderful week! zsuzsa @ InkyDinkyDoodle #38

I have to laugh about the paw print. My cat only gets as far as my chair and she doesn't bother getting on my desk. Maybe because there's no room! LOL! Great card! I taught this to a group of friends and they had a ball!!! And they WERE amazed how easy it is to do! Thanks for popping by! Happy WOYWW!

I don't think I could make a card in a box! But I love the kitty helper. Sandy Leigh #40

I don't have the patience to make a card in a box. In my Splitcoast gallery, I have my first and last exploding box thingy. It almost killed me. I would do it once, to say I've tried, then never look back.

The cat looked guilty from the start.

And yes, your desk is, again, unnaturally tidy.

No desk is bare with a kitty on it! I wonder who the naughty guilty party was, doing a bit of paw stamping on the side lol!! I am trying to type this with Beatrice lying on my left arm and washing vigorously which doesn't make life easy! Thanks for your visit and your very encouraging words - so much appreciated! I am feelig a lot better today, mentally and physically, and have spent the day with a lovely friend who came to visit, so haven't been in the studio. Exactly 1 calendar month from today till it's all finished, and then a couple of weeks to recover from the final treatment and then I'm hoping there will be no stopping Shoshi!! Glad you like my little purple box.

I was going to point him out as a prime suspect. (although certain persons as yet unnamed may be culpable if they left an inkpad open in the presence of a feline).

Now listen here, Shweetheart, it's Paws Malone P.I. here. Lemme tell you that one inky paw doesn't incriminate anyone. He was set up, I tell you, framed by someone who wants to take over his patch. Check out the others.........
Nice box card btw, that'll teach you to blurt out rash promises, lol!!

Surely your kitty had an accomplice?
That box card is clever!
I would be grateful if you could send some of that tidiness my way :)
