February!

Yeah, so I'm a little slow realizing it is a whole new month now.  To celebrate all things February, here is my February calendar page.  This calendar might make a wee bit more sense if I tell you that the city I live in celebrates Rodeo Holiday in February.  Apparently, this is a local-only thing. Yet no one who actually lives here has attended a rodeo.  Folks who moved in from another city (myself included) all admit to attending the rodeo parade "once" but that is about all the rodeo we get.  Well, that and we get two days off work for it, so go La Fiesta de los Vaqueros!

Here is the latest A Muse Studio spotlight if you are interested in the February specials.  There is a whole new catalog out too.  If you haven't checked it out, you should.  You can see and purchase the items here and/or order yourself a paper catalog too. There are a lot of new fun and exciting things!
And you know that saying, "When pigs fly"?  Yeah, they might be taking flight soon.  So when you see Unidentified Flying Objects, keep that in mind.  Remember, you heard it here first!

Thanks for stopping my blog!  Happy Discombobulated Thursday to y'all!

January Spotlight

It is time to think all things pink and red and frilly and sweet for your sweetheart.  This month's spotlight includes 10% off of select Valentine's sets: Sweet Love, Quick & Cute Valentine's, Friends Fur-Ever, Sweetheart Background, and Love Conquers All.

There is also an assorted paper pack called Rock Candy.  It includes 4 sheets each of the following colors: Bubblegum, Shell, Orange, Apricot, and Blush.  A Muse's cardstock is smooth and wonderful to use.  It is 80lb weight and white on the backside. so great for card bases.

The Friends Fur-Ever set is the first A Muse Studio set I bought. It is full of cute little animals and sayings and could be used all year round.  In fact, most of these stamps can be used for occasions other than Valentine's Day.

I confess that the Love Conquers All set was my least favorite of the bunch, but I heard so many people ooh-ing and ahh-ing over it so I had to give it a try.  What do you know?  It is kind of fun and I've shared two cards I made with it.

The Fine Print: Blogger is driving me nuts today!  Background papers by Basic Grey, stamps by A Muse Studio "Love Conquers All" set, glitter heart paper by DCWV, heart die by A Muse Studio, scallop border by Fiskars, solid and scallop oval by Spellbinders, Bubblegum card base, and blush sheer organdy ribbon by A Muse Studio.  I'm going to drink heavily now.

November Spotlight

As promised, today brings us the A Muse Studio November Spotlight. You can check it out here at this link CLICK HERE but keep reading for highlights.

There are 5 fabulous sets that are 10%.  Yes, 4 out of the 5 revolve around The Holiday That Shall Not Be Named, but if you are planning to make cards NOW is the time (unless you are me, in which case, December 23 is a good time, or even December 27).  The sets are Winter Wishes, Holiday Tags, Candy Cane Wishes, Polka Dot Patterns and Jolly Gingerbread.  If you have been paying attention to my blog then you’ve seen a lot of the Holiday Tags set and you can expect to see more of it soon.

There is also an awesome cardstock pack called the Gingerbread Assortment Pack for $7.65.  The assortment pack contains four sheets each of these colors: Cocoa, Toffee, Cranberry, Shell, and Bermuda.  The cardstock is colored on one side and white on the other so it great to use for cards.  It is 80 lb. cardstock, so none of that flimsy cover stock masquerading as cardstock here!  And for some inspiration, here a 3x3 gift tag I made:

October Spotlight

The 15th of the month is upon us and that means a new Spotlight of Savings at A Muse Studio.  This month has some great stamp sets and a lovely autumn harvest colored paper pack (4 sheets each of Toffee, Squash, Orange, Currant, and French Roast). Check it out!  And here are the 5 sets that are on sale also--Autumn Leaves, Fresh Foliage, Calendar Fun, Harvest Blessings, and Perfectly Polished.

And of course, I have to share at least one creation with you.  And please don't laugh at my crooked cards.  My scanner is persnickedy and if a card is the slightest bit crooked on the scanner bed it will exaggerate it in the scan.  I promise that my cards are little more lined up in person.
