Black and White--It's Alright

There I was moving random things around on my craft desk today when I ran across a triple flip card base that I die cut several months ago and then rejected for being too white. Since the card base was totally usable I left it on my desk and moved it from one pile to another. I'd uncover it from time to time but it never inspired me.
Until today! When I found it today I immediately felt that it needed to be made into a black and white card. For a little while there I toyed with the idea of making the flowers hot pink for a pop of color, but my desire to have it be just black and white persevered.
After dinner I sat down at my computer and started visiting some blogs and ran into one black and white card after another. I thought it interesting that we all got called by the same muse. Only, it turns out that everyone else' muse was the latest Double D challenge. I was adamant that I wasn't influenced by it until I decided to join it and went over it. Yeah, I remember glancing at those cards before and I'm sure my subconscious latched onto Kathy's card. So thanks, everyone for helping me finally use this card base that has been languishing for so long!

Triple Time

My stamp club is doing a card exchange and the theme is "One Little, Two Little, Three Little _____." They alway leave the theme up to your interpretation so I rather focused on the three part. I didn't ignore the one or the two as they are represented on my card, but I went for a triple flip card.
I have one lonely bunny and then miss bunny gets a boyfriend so there are two. Whoops, well, now there are three little bunnies, because bunnies do that kind of thing. As a giggle I made a matching envelope and that has four bunnies on it.
I used a die to cut this flip flop card shape. I have directions, knowledge, and experience on how to cut these kinds of card but I went for the easy peasy run it through a die method. Really, why go through all that work when you don't have to? Plus the die has the coordinating layers to go with it!
Inside I put three large matching hearts. I started out putting one, two and three hearts but it didn't really do it for me. This all folds shut into a nice A2 sized card.

A Flip but no Flop

The other day I cleaned out some mysterious corners of my crafting area and came across some fun dies that I forgot I had.  So of course I had to play with them!
I learned how to make flip flop cards back in the day when you had to use a ruler and an Exacto Knife.  Believe me they are much easier nowadays and you can get fun shapes as well.
I felt the flippy floppiness of this card should be the focal point so I didn't put much else on it than a few embellishments and stamped images.  I really liked how it came out.
