Remember the good old days where if you saved someone's life during a zombie apocalypse (or some other significant disaster) they were all like, "Thank you for saving my life! I appreciate your every little gesture of kindness. I only have this sharpened stick but I will fight loyally by your side!"
Nowadays it is all: What do you mean you don't have gluten free rations?! I only drink water bottled in New Hampshire during the full moon! I follow a strict Paleo diet and sleep on 4000 thread count sheets. None of this will do for me. I cannot believe you have not catered to my every need. I am going to sit here and pout until you fix this gross negligence.
Yep, and that's just one of the many reasons I hate people.
The Fine Print: So true, not all who wander are lost; some of us are just trying to get away from the bullshit. Mouse by House Mouse, greeting by Stampin' Up, dies by Spellbinders.

Explore
I made this card today. I picked up that word die yesterday at my stamp club meeting. I've had my eye on it for awhile but it hasn't been available. Luckily one showed up and my dealer grabbed it up for me.
I learned a little trick today about sanding an embossed card to show the white core beneath--leave the card in the embossing folder. It helps give definition to what you are sanding.
The Fine Print: Stamp "Plane and Simple" and embossing folder by Stampin' Up, die cut word by Couture Creations. Look! And eyelet! Set with a hammer and everything!

Adventure is Calling
It's been awhile since I've been excited by what is going on with A Muse Studio, so I'm glad that the July collection tickled my fancy. I was inspired by their workshop ideas to make this card. Adventure is calling! Just break out your crafting goodies and play!

Stamps used: School Supplies and Road Trip (new in July!); cardstock used: Seattle, grid print, mermaid, sage, vanilla, cherry polka dot, and French Roach; dies used: Hello, school supplies matching dies, and the hole reinforcer from the tag dies; other supplies: burnished brass brads.

We'll Always Have Paris
Of course, in my case Paris looks rather industrial and grunge-worthy. I was doing some experimenting of stamping on patterned paper. It is what it is.
The Fine Print: All supplies by A Muse Studio: "C'est la Vie" stamp set, Haunted House designer paper, Pebble and Slate cardstock with a clear jewel sticker.

Left My Heart in its Usual Spot
Since I'm not a traveling man, nor am I a traveling woman, I don't actually understand this greeting.
Last I checked my heart is still doing its thing in its expected location.

Imagination
Sometimes it is good to get from A to Z, but mostly I just want to get from here to there. I guess I need more imagination. Definitely, wherever it is I'm going, I need my glasses!
The Fine Print: All products by A Muse Studio except chalk from my stash. Stamps--Geek is the New Chic and World Map; cardstock--French Roast and Vanilla; other products--French Roast twill ribbon.

Camper Sweet Camper
I'm not a let's-go-camping kind of person, but if I were I think I'd prefer a retro camper over a tent any day. It just seems like it would have more of the comforts of home.
But you know what really has all the comforts of home? That's right, home. That's why I don't go camping.
The Fine Print: All products by A Muse Studio. Stamps--Happy Camper. Cardstock--French Roast, sky, evergreen, wasabi and sugar. Other Products--Tree die and French Roast baker's twine.

Diary of a Hurricane Survivor
Look! At long last! A real post from me so I can update you on how that hurricane went. This picture hits the nail on the head:
It's true. They forgot to include the water with their hurricane. Well, whatever. Now what I am going to do with these leftover sandbags?!
The Fine Print: I don't actually have any sandbags. People know better than to let me play with a heavy bag of sand. I'd probably knock someone out with it... most likely myself. All card products by A Muse Studio. Stamps--Go, See, Do and Stamp Collection. Cardstock--French roast, wasabi, vanilla and toffee. Other Products--French Roast twine, antique brass brads, and Halloween washi tape trio.

A Case of CASE
I CASEd this card from another A Muse Consultant so my customers could make this card at a workshop this past weekend. I really liked it and it turns out that they did too.
I just realized that my photo of the card makes it look awkwardly crooked, but it isn't in real life, although given how awkward I am it is a wondered it isn't all discombobulated for reals (like me!).
The Fine Print: Sorry, I don't remember which a|s consultant I copied, but she obviously has talent! All the products are by A Muse Studio. Stamps--Come Fly with Me, World Map and Go, See, Do. Cardstock--Seattle, Shell, Winter Sky, and Vanilla. Inks--Memento black and pebble. Other stuff--fiesta button assortment and vanilla twine.
