What's on my workdesk this Wednesday you ask? Why let me tell you! Not all this stuff:
That was what my desk looked like on Sunday when I was having a play day with myself (and a couple of kitties because I never do anything truly by myself). I was making seashore themed cards and having a grand time.
Apparently seashore themed cards take an amazing amount of scissors as I spy four pair all clustered near each other along with the one in the organizer on top of the desk. I also have lots of markers, inks, and stamps lying about. My desk today is a cleaner version of what you see up there.
The Fine Print: Like many of you I am in shock over the news of Janet/Fairy Thoughts' passing. She was always very encouraging--encouraged me to try new things, to clean my desk (or not), and to enjoy life. She will be missed. Seaside stuff by Club Scrap "Cape Cod."

Hi Judy, lovely comment about Janet, you are right, she will be greatly missed.Love the card, great colours. As to the scissors, you need so many as they tend to hide, I find. They sneak off under paper/scraps whatever is there for them to hide under.Have a great week, hugs. Shaz #5xxx
Love the card - and your busy desk (don't really do tidy crafting, as you saw.. thanks for visiting, you made me laugh, my knees protest too!) Helen 3
The card is fab , the desk , so tidy :) Have a great week. Soojay 23
I am laughing at the 4 scissors of course. ( I always have at least two out) but, when I googled flower frogs it says it didn't come into use until 1968 or so and no one knows why they are called that. ( the best guess they have is the holders sit in water like a frog) ~Stacy #52
Ha, you gave us the 'before' and 'after' photos. The card is beautiful. Suitable for all sorts of occasions.
Thanks for visiting earlier,
Have a great week,
Lisca
Love your desk, Judy, it's so stylish! Can't see any kitties though. I love your lighthouses - that touch of red on the black and white images has such impact! They are lovely. I adore seaside themes too, and sea life, esp. seahorses!
Thank you for your lovely comment - nice and upbeat and encouraging! I've definitely got 16th Oct. in my sights now as the end of all this and I can't wait. So glad you liked the parcel of stash I made up for Shaz. She has sent me so many lovely comments about it and it really made my day to receive them! I so enjoyed making it all.
Happy WOYWW,

Fab card :-) Love that splash of bright red - really striking. You are a much tidier crafter than me - I shall hang my head in shame! Jayne x
Gorgeous card, the red looks brilliant against the black. Quick visits for me today as I have been out with my mum all day. Wishing you a great woyww and happy crafting, Angela x 23
Wow - love the lighthouses. And you cleaned your desk? Can you come clean mine? LOL

Like lots of people, I was also saddened by reading about Janet. I feel bad because I didn't know about it till I went to link up at Julia's.
I DID get a laugh at the fact you needed so many scissors for the beach scene. It helped take my mind off sadder moments.
Thanks for the visit earlier and happy WOYWW from #2, because technically, it's still Tuesday in my world.
My DH always wants to know why I have 10 pairs of scissors. LOL Poor man does not know that you NEED that many pairs. LOL
Love your desk.
Happy WOYWW!

4 pairs of scissors and about 10 bottles of glue seems to be the norm on most woyww desks. Love the seaside cards. I can't imagine crafting without my kitty popping in to say hello, walking all over me desk and playing with bits of paper on the floor.

Lol it is funny how one thing can use so many scissors then the next thing you know you can't find any card looks great hugs Nikki 11
It's funny how scissors like to have little meetings lol. Love the card! #59
Another desk transformation! Isn't it lovely to have a clear workspace? Well, I can dream, can't I?
I like your seaside card, but I am trying to picture it in soothing shades of seaside blue, rather than Fire Engine Red :) :)
Thanks for dropping by earlier too :)
Well, if you've got them, flaunt them!....Scissors, I mean....what did you think I was on about?? ;-)
Janet loved life, was funny and incredibly generous....I aim to follow in her footsteps.
Sorry this reply is so late, I've had visitors for three days!
Hugs, LLJ xxxx
How fun you always have company for stamping! Love the lighthouse card!
