Workdesk Wednesday

It has been far too long since I've hooked up with Julia and the folks at Workdesk Wednesday.  Do check it out if you fancy a sneak peek at the places others create.
The reason I  haven't joined in a while is my desk is tidy by Wednesday, all cleaned off and made cat proof by the middle of the workweek. No, this photo isn't an anomaly; it is from Sunday when all the real playing happens.
My desk is chock full of things I've worked on, want to work on, and was working on. Some of it got used and some of it is still waiting to get used, but all nicely stacked up with no twine, plastic, small bits, or other cat tempting objects in reach.
Cats sure are bastards, aren't they?
What did you just call me?!
The Fine Print: It seems like Valentine's cards were in full swing along with some winter, Chirstmas and challenge ones. I haven't been focused on any one thing lately, jumping from this to that.

I had to laugh about your cat. Mine usually leaves the desk alone but takes over my chair during most of the morning. It is covered with hair and weeds from outside. I put the chair a couple feet away from the desk just in case. Thanks for visiting!

Our kitties are banned from my studio. Phoebe behaves OK but Beatrice is a total pain, rummaging and pulling things out and being generally destructive and a huge nuisance! Poor little Phoebe has just been diagnosed with epilepsy which is pretty scary, and she's now on medication.

Nice busy desk. Like you, I often have a clear desk on Wednesday - WOYWW always seems to happen just when I'm between projects! At least my mojo is now back, so I should have something more interesting to share from now on. Thanks for your visit!

Happy WOYWW,

Great to meet you. I've been away from WOYWW since last April....long story. Luv your kitty, I have 2 and try to work while they are sleeping. I also live in the Tucson area. We should get together sometime.

LOL!! I just posted on the desk after yours, her cat has that "Give me my desk back" look, but we all know they just want to lie on our stuff or knock it on the floor!!!

Glad to see you, Princess Judy!

I love your cat but they are naughty, just pleased that my dogs can't jump that high instead however, they sit behind me so I fall over them when I turn round. Great to see you around again. Happy crafty woyww, Angela x 29

Happy WOYWW. I am lucky in that our cat does not take any notice of anything in my craft room. She does come and sit in a window, but soon wanders off. Ali x #37

I love the photo of your cat. He looks as if he has attitude too. Do I spy some Lawn Fawn stamps there. I love them. Enjoy Sunday! Barbxx #54

Your cat made me smile. The photo is a lovely one and removing bits of string and tiny bits is perfectly normal in this house too. Must be a universal cat thing.
Thank you for taking the trouble to visit and for your sweet comment.
Greetings from sunny Spain,
Lisca

My kitty likes to wait until I'm working on something on my desk. Then he jumps up and plants himself on top of my project. LOL April #58

My table is never cleaned up--but I've got to change that! Beautiful picture of your furbaby!

Well cat proofing your desk gives you plenty of clean space when you start your work.... and means you know where things are... (well that is the theory!) My old boy is past jumping on desks now :-( but he still loves my knee.

Yes, they are! My two little furry darlings would wreak havoc in my workroom so they're not allowed up there at all....
Your desk is looking fun, good to know that you've got many projects in progress/yet to do. I'm not inspired presently....cue tumbleweed blowing through the screen :-)

Good to see the desk in full flow - but yes, I can see that it's cat-temptation-heaven!
