A Whole Lotta Nuthin'

I might as well join in with What's on Your Workdesk Wednesday (WOYWW 134) since I got nothing else for you.  Plus I cleaned the darn thing, complete with a dust cloth... on parts of it.
That insanity started earlier this week when I decided that it was time to find out exactly what was in all those piles and nooks and crannies.  I really got gung-ho and went to town, but then people started calling me.  I'm not a chat on the phone kind of girl and after a couple of conversations my will to live is usually zapped, never mind the will to clean (where does that come from anyway?), plus it was bedtime.  Then it was a whole new day with a whole new set of phone calls and a whole lotta nothing.  My goal, besides finding what was on the desk was to get all the holiday papers and stuff picked up and put away-ish so that I could get on to the next phase of life.  But I just couldn't get going.

After days of picking at it, I finally just did it, and I threw in the table for good measure too.

It isn't all as impressive as it looks as now there are random piles of crafting cra.. stuff in other areas of my house.  I did start a small stack of Valentine stuff to try to get me in the mood.  The other pile is stuff from the snow kit for my giveaway HERE minus the Tonic thread cutter which is being sold to distress edges that I want to try out since A Muse sells it and I sell A Muse so I should be familiar with their products.
Sorry this is such a dull post, but it's all I got.  Well, that and picture of some of the several hundred dollars of rubber I bought yesterday:

The Fine Print: There ain't any.

Hey, you've done SOME tidying, that's a whole heap more than men - though I have great plans, oh yes, indeedy. The Christmas decorations are coming down tomorrow, corners dusted, cats hoovered - you know the kind of thing!! All so I can have a tidy house with which to greet 2012 - it just makes me feel better, so it does :)
Wishing you a very Happy and Exciting New Year!
Hugs, LLJ (Normal) xx

Love your roll-top desk, always wanted one of those but the only one I have is a miniature one in my dolls house.
Well done on the tidying, just think of it as an opportunity to get it all messy again and of all the fun you will have doing just that.
Thanks for dropping by at mine.

Wasnt a dull post - I never knew you could dust a desk so I have learnt something! Sorry you had to spend a fortune for rubber on your car and not some lovely new rubber stamps! Thanks for all the lovely comments you have left me these past few months and I hope you have a lovely new year too.

I think it’s always good to have a right old tidy up, especially as we go into a new year but for me this year it’s not going to happen. Because of the problems before Christmas I’m so far behind with making the birthday cards needed for the start of January that the cleaning is going to have to go on hold until I’ve finished them………hopefully tomorrow with a bit of luck.

Happy New Year to you and
Happy Crafting!

Not dull at all, I thoroughly enjoyed reading it and spying your so tidy spaces, and fully sympathise with your expensive rubber. As the owners of two 4x4 motors (needed for towing), that is a serious expense. Enjoy crafting in your newly tidies space. Have a wonderful New Year full of good health, happiness and fun. Thanks for stopping by and commenting. The squares on my journal are to write a little something each day. I plan to keep it up all year.

Ah Judy, I'm still at the 'picking at it ' stage, you may be the hit I need to just get it over with! Nor are you alone with the expensive rubber....mine get changed tomorrow. Bit like buying underwear these days, functional, expensive and not always noticed!!!
