What's Next to Your Workdesk

Wednesday.

Last week the big news was NEW CATS!  Today's big news is NEW CAT BOXES!
Yes, just a thrill a minute in our household.  But seriously, this is crafting related because in order to fit those two cat litter boxes in their place, that shelf had to be moved over a couple of inches.  That meant, having to remove all the stuff piled high on it and in it and next to it.  I have also cleaned it up and rearranged it, which if you aren't my husband, you may notice.  However, I still have a lot of things aren't put away yet and causing havoc being piled around in other places. Some day there will be a spot for everything and everything in its spot.*
Meanwhile, here is the actual desk, the side of it that is mildly clean, that is.  These are my new A Muse Studio Valentine's goodies (and one lost winter set).  I realize I haven't even started my Christmas cards yet, but a|s wants us all to be forward thinking and check out the new Valentine's stuff.  I laugh because I spy the same 3x3 card and envelope I shared with you last week. Yeah, you can't rush greatness.
And here's Poppy making an appearance for her fans.  She didn't want to show her gooey eyes off so she turned away demurely.  She may have allergies or she may have caught the eye goo from her baby brothers (who had it before they were adopted).  She'll go to the V-E-T tomorrow to see for sure.  And yes, she can almost like her baby brudders now.

* A girl can dream.

The Fine Print: I don't want to imply that nothing is fine today, but I got nothing for here!

Hi Princess

I admit, if I even had one cat, I would want of those electric cleaning box, I saw one recently that looked perfect, I think it even bags it for you! I'm puppy sitting which means picking up puppy poop..yuck...gross...I have little flags of where it lands all over my brother's back yard...I prefer to pick it up when it is dry...reduces the gross factor! lol waving hi from the hills of North Carolina :)

Oh, I can definitely tell how you've re-categorised everything....oh, darnit, I can't lie...I didn't notice a change at all, sorry... :(
Those cat boxes are a bit space age, aren't they? Looks like Dr Who may appear out of one of them before too long *grin*
Happy WOYWW!

Of course there's a spot for everything, the spot just happens to move to add variation to your life. :)

Hello Poppy. Don't come to near the bears, gunky furred eyes are no good for crafting!!

You're too good taking everything off the bookcase. I would've just tried to slide it with all the stuff on, call me lazy but it's much easier!!
Poor gooey pussy having to go to the v-e-t. Hope she can't s-p-e-l-l.
Have a great week.

Is this the Poppy that Trisha Too talked about on her blog? Or a coincidence?

Oh no, moving something in a craft area just a couple of inches can cause big issues....#94

Poor Poppy she is just trying to assert her spot in the hierarchy! She has to show those brothers she is still top cat in the house! Great looking desk with some fun things to play with. I know what you mean about being forward thinking and looking at Valentines before Christmas cards are made! I gotta quit that. I spent way too much on a Stampin Up order and now my savings is gone! Have a great week and thanks for sharing. Vickie #77

Moving things in a craft space is a night mare as nothing ever fits in the right place again. But on the plus side you do come across things you had forgotten you had!! Lots of carfting goodness.

Oh, it's just the pit's when you have to move something....it takes hours to re-organize, which leads too other projects...I feel your pain! Love your stamps! Looks like you stocked up on your baker's twine...thats fun stuff.

Look at that organization!!! You know, I named my bird Poppy - maybe we should get your cat and my bird together..... oh, on second thought, maybe that wouldn't work out so well!

I do not know what we gals have to do to get the husbands to notice these things...on the other hand, prolly better that they don't, I don't want close attention to the increasing detail! Love that A muse think you're all forward looking...how much faith they do have!

Ah, you're killing me with that underutilized corner there! I want so badly to come over and put a table (tallish so there is plenty of room underneath for the boxes/good air flow, and buffet sized so it will fit between the wall and next bookcase, the one against the next wall) over those litter boxes...you cannot believe the amount of stuff you can stack on a sturdy table in a corner! Or maybe *you* can! lol :) At any rate, your shelf does look much neater. Seriously, hubs didn't notice? Is he blind?! lol No, he's that other B word, right? (Boy!) Anyways, hope you have fun playing with your new toys and Poppy's eye infection(plus the little brothers') gets better soon. Eye probs are no fun, I have eye allergies and sometimes I spend the whole day trying to see the light of day! :) Thanks for stopping by my blog already and leaving a comment, my desk is nicer all messed up, huh? lol Deeyll #88

I still don't know how you find time to craft with all those cats around getting into mischief. I am busy training our older dog to pick things up for me when I drop them - he is very good at it too, even paper. The other one would just snatch it and tear it up. I am still looking for my foils and for a large roll of rubbish bags which have vanished off the face of the earth. Any ideas? Have a good week. xx Maggie #40

Hi Judy, sorry to be visiting so late this week - just busy. Oh Lovely to meet your kitties. Well done on managing to move something in your craftroom without the avalanche I know would happen if I tried it here. Happy Wednesday. LOL
