Valentines!

I know all those recent Christmas cards made some of y'all a bit twitchy, so how about some Valentine's cards to balance things out?
I made this card to use that nifty piece of fun designer paper in the background.  It had the added bonus of really matching my NBUS stamp. After I assembled the card I thought that the hearts needed some gloss and I was tickled pink (pun intended) to find out that my A Muse Studio Crystal Clear glaze easily came out of the bottle. I didn't have to fight with it with needle and swear words to unclog the tip.  Woot!
This card I made to use up one of the cards and papers that came in a Valentine's kit a friend gave me.  The kit had the card blanks, designer papers and stickers.  Being a stamper, I thought it needed it bit more than that and added this stamped, colored, an glittered image, along with a piece of ribbon.

The Fine Print: Swirling Heart stamp by Embossing Arts, heart paper from my stash, ribbons from my stash, birds and hearts stamp by Impression Obsession. and Valentine card kit by Paper Adventures, which btw, I used the stickers on the inside of the card.

I don't twitch until Christmas is actually here, but these valentines are fun and cute! I just love those tiny birds on the wire, along with the clothespins and hearts of course!

Lovely cards, they're very pretty! I'm glad it's not just me doing battle with silly bottles... I've split the tip on my gloss with slightly too vigorous needle poking, and now it bubbles out from half way - very, very annoying! Hugs, Lisa x

Judy, Love both of these sweet V cards, and liked that glossy look on #1. Laughed at your vocabulary comments. About the needle & tip. Last night, I had an image colored - oh really well & I was so pleased, which is unusual for me! Had it fussy cut, and was going to squeeze a bit ofbrushable glue, add a bit of flock to some fur. Clogged. Opened the top cap, got the glob out of the cap, back on, needle in tip, squeezed to get on my image. Blop Glop and whiz...it all came out in a big blog, on my image. Guess I didn't have the cap tightened as I should. The pressure of squeezing made it pop right off. You wanna talk some blue words? So I restamp, (it has some blurries, but I'm gonna cut it out, so no worry. Do you think I got it colored as nicely as the 1st time?). So I was ROFL when I read your comment about how good your glaze came out. (I wasn't laughing last night tho!) Thanks for sharing and giving me a chuckle. Hugs

I'm not a Valentine fan (far more of a bah humbugger about V-day than Christmas!) but I love both these cards! The glossy heart is fabulous, and I think the little patterned ones are so sweet... best bunting ever...
