It's time again for another installment of Workdesk Wednesday where those brave or foolish enough to show you their workspace get together to snoop. Come and join over at Stamping Ground.
Here's my desk as of Tuesday night as I toddle off to bed. I've been good about keeping it tidy even though I've done a lot of playing this past week. I finished off quite a number the things I had on my desk last week and have moved on to other things.
This little pile shows you my original rejects from yesterday's CASE this Sketch card, plus a rejected House Mouse (I didn't like the purple underfoot), a Penny Black stamp I got out to make a card with, and that same cat image from last week. Although you can see I pulled out another cat stamp to put with him. I'm still not sure what he'll turn out to be.
This is the same brand new unused stamp set from last week. I did not get around to using it yet. I did pull out some Valentine papers to inspire me. Even though I had great plans for making Valentine's cards nice and early this year so far it hasn't happened.
This pile has a card I made for a swap, a get well stamp that needs to be made into a card, some stickers that were a gift that I want to use soon and underneath that a Christmas set that I don't much care for but am determined to use. The package of twine was bought in late November in case my stamp club did a gift exchange. We were talking about not doing one but hubby told me to pick up something just in case so I got this. I thought it was really cool with all those solid colors of twine, but just the other day I noticed that it is TWO rolls of each color. Therefore, it is only half as cool as I thought. Well, as you can see we didn't do a gift exchange because I still have it. I need to decide what to do with it. I'm quite sure I don't need two rolls of each color though.
Here's a close up of the card I made since many of visitors come to see my crafty creations. The basis of the card swap is to use pink and brown. The medallion image is more pink in real life but came out very red in this scan. I'm not sure if the bubblegum pink overwhelms the rest of the card or not. When that color first came out I used it all the time. I was so in love with bubblegum pink. Now however I think it is way too bright. I must have been feeling flamboyant before.
The Fine Print: Cat image and stamp by Hero Arts, House Mouse by Stampa Rosa, Penny Black stamp by Penny Black (bet you didn't see that coming), solid flower by Hero Arts, "Love" by Copper Leaf, Chemistry of Love set by Lawn Fawn, Get Well Soon stamp by Stampin' Up, the dreaded Christmas set by Hero Arts, flourish and medallion stamps by Stampin' Up "Baroque Motifs," "Thank You," titan ribbon, bubblegum, shell, titan and sugar cardstocks by A Muse Studio, ink from Memento and bling from my stash. Whew!

Fab tidy desk and some great new goodies. Thanks for popping by and yes you are right, my union jack radio has been replaced by the white radio. I loved my old radio but it stopped working. I had to get a new one as I have it on all day every day literally. I listen in to sports news and talk while crafting away. Take care Zo xx 56
Good grief girl! How can you even think with a desk THAT tidy?
Love your card and no I don't think it is too bright.

Hey Princess Judy, love all the things going on, on your desk. I love those ribbon / twine sets..I normally give half to my Craft Buddy or wrap them in stacks in little cellophane bags and give as gifts with a little stack of cards..it goes down well :) Cx #25

Hi Princess Judy,
Wow - your desk is VERY clean and ready for you to mess it up! I think the purple under the mouse is just fine - since you don't like it can you cut around it? The stamp with the mouse pulling the wheel barrel is very cute!
Thank you for visiting me already!
Happy WOYWW
Peace, Kay (3)

How do you manage to stay so tidy, while my room is a total wreck? Are you available for hire? I quite thought that was ribbon, and was quite surprised to find it was actually twine. Hope you find something sensible or fun to do with it all. xx Maggie #24
Love your tidy desk! If someone would come clean mine, maybe I would get my Mojo back! :) Happy WOYWW! #71

WOW tidy desk, I am impressed. Love the twine set, why don't you package up one of each colour all ready for another SWAP exchange? Thanks for the visit BJ#2
I'm loving the stripey cats! I think the twine is perfect because you can swap one of each of the reels without losing any yourself :-) #41
Make a box and put one roll of each colour in and use it as a gift for someone. That way ou will still have one to play with.
Love the cat images.
Take care and thanks for visiting me.

Very Tidy! Love that desk...I saw a PB mouse stamp that I have as well, and it colors up so easily. Loving your papers that you have ready to make Valentine cards. You still have a month to go! Why not divide your twines & offer blog candy???Or gift to a craft buddy who uses twine. Hmmm. Loved your bubblegum card. I think it looks very cheerful & I liked the bright pink with the dark brown tones. TFS & Hugs
The stamps images are so cute, I can't believe their your rejects. I love your thank you card. Happy WOYWW. LisaDV#81. Thanks for visiting me.
Those rejects are too cute. Maybe you could add another color to the purple to get a color underfoot that you like better. Love pink and brown together. Cute card.

Your desk looks fantastic. I used to have a desk like that many years ago...and now I wish I'd kept it!
Anyway you've created some beautiful work from your tidy space ;D
Rejected house mouse! Surely not...he's just adorable ^..^
What about cutting around him and adding him on top of another mouse to give the 3D effect. Not sure if there's a technical term for this...but hopefully you'll get what I mean.
Have fun and enjoy your space.
Thanks for visiting me earlier.

Your desk is stunning, I am not sure I could bear to work at it if it was mine. Karen #36
Lovely card and a totally impressive tidy desk!!! x Jo
Hi Judy, love the card. I often find that with very strong colours, it helps to make the border narrower- I had to do that with a bunch of cards I made a while ago, as the backing mats were such strong colours. Love your house mouse images- you could always tone the purple down with a blender pen? He's so cute! I'm running so late this week, sorry. Have a great week, Hugs, Shaz # 33 xx
I have that Baroque set too. It's a favourite! Hey, if I lived around the corner I'm sure you could swap those extra sets of coloured twine for something out of my stash :)
Have a good colourful week!
