Happy May Day Mail Day
Whoa! It's a whole new month now. Here are the cards I received during the last week. I received this one from my mom thanking me for her birthday surprises.
Then I received this quirky kitty in the mail for a swap. Isn't he a scream? His orange parts are glittery.
This passel of silly cowboys on a card came as part of a hat themed swap. That swatch of ribbon is velvet.
While it didn't come in the mail, I did receive this card at work for Administrative Whatever Whatever Day formerly known as Secretary's Day. Did you know that Admin Whatever day is now actually Admin Whatever week?!
And since it is a new month, here is my May calendar. Last month featured April showers so this month is May flowers. I have a couple of important dates highlighted. The 27th is my big stamp club meeting and the 9th is my 50th birthday. That's like half a freaking century!

Lots of happy May Day mail... how funny - I'd never seen that lovely stripy cat before, and today I've seen him twice on two separate blogs! Big birthday coming up - I like that it's got a nice bright star attached to it. I'm only two years behind you... the half century is well worth celebrating.

Lots of happy mail - and lots of kitties! You have the same birthday as my brother - mine is on the 31st but I won't be 50 until next year. Early happy birthday wishes in case I forget when the time comes!!
