No. 271 Workdesk Wednesday

Happy Workdesk Wednesday to y'all.  Why don't you check out Julia's blog hop and see what your fellow crafters are up to today?  I'm sure they are up to something more exciting than me.
I tidied up before my photo shoot, but it wasn't to impress/depress you.  I was attempting to find a Lost Object (located and packed into the appropriate bag).  As you can see, I used the ever popular pile it up and shove to the left method.  Some items of note are the plastic baggie of embellishments on the left side of my desk (some day I promise I'll play with them!), the different patterns of patterned paper in the center of my desk, and the cats' tie (for formal events) to the right.
Here's a close up of the pile filled with cards in progress, cards that have been finished, and cards received from other people.  There's a fabulous sparkly "P" in the mix that I'm trying to come up with something fun to do with.  What would you do with it?
Here's a really nifty 3-D card my friend gave me (for surviving the month of June--something that needed surviving). It is so neat and will fold flat.  I'm going to take it to work so I can have it on my desk there. I'm afraid it would become a victim of cat chaos if I left it at home.  Speaking cats and chaos... no pictures of them today because they are all boycotting me in homage to Dio.  Dio has an ear infection so I have to hold him down and squirt goo in his ear twice a day.  Apparently we aren't friends anymore.

If you have time, think about trotting over to my August 10th post which has a comment for a chance to win thing going on.  Not many have visited yet.  I think we all took the day off.

The Fine Print: I got nuthin' today!  How sad.

You are very neat and tidy this week. Mine has practically nothing on it as needed to use table for it's original purpose :-) Love that card of the puss. Happy WOYWW Anne x #33

What a lovely tidy desk. Lost Objects obviously have the same effect on craft desks as Friends Coming Round to Dinner has on housework. Unfortunately we don't entertain much. I love that card card. Am feeling an urge to deconstruct it. Good job it isn't on my desk. Thanks for the earler visit and Happy WOYWWW. Cindy x

a very tidy desk this week dont see much evidence of piles or even push it to the sideitis. Do you have a giant J to go with the P you could do something with your initials.... in case you forget them.
thanks for your visit earlier.... I thought the fortune cookie was funny, but then I have a strange sense of humour. we obviously don't like fortunes over here because it seems they are only available at Christmas and Chinese new year..... very strange
have a good week

Hi Judy, hope you found what you were looking for. We had visitors the other night so I grabbed everything and put it in the loft room, big mistake because now I can't find stuff.
Have a great week and happy crafting, Angela x #44

Ah yes, I well know that technique for finding Lost Objects! Hope the kitties play nice soon :)
Thanks for stopping by and the beanie will be used to keep my head warm, when next we head to the snow :)

Aw, darnit....Janet stole my line about making a 'J' to go with the P.......I'm going to sulk now!!
Did you find what you were looking for in the Push up Pile on your desk? If I have to find something, I pretend that I'm not. I even say to the relevant object "I'm not trying to find....insert relevant object name here......, nope sirree, I couldn't care less where you're hiding" and what do you know , it always turns up! Sad but true.
Stapling up your hem huh? I had heard rumours.......... :-)

Hi Princess Judy,

Your desk looks nice and organized, despite the "push it to the side" strategy. Glad you found the missing object!

The card your friend made you is very cute. What??? No fine print?!?

Happy WOYWW

Too clean ... but then if you have lost something it is the only way to find things. Hope kitty forgives you soon.

Your tidy desk always makes me itch.

I think you need to use the sparkly P on a card that says PFFFFTH!

I saw the 'P' on the desk and it reminded me of the same thing to put on the back and front of your car when the learner drivers pass their desk and become probationary drivers, here they have to display the red P for 1 year then a green P for 2 further years. I love the 3 D card display pity you can't leave it near the kitties. I do hope Dio gets better soon, they only run from you because they know it's medicine they hate, but they really love you heaps.

Take care and sorry for visiting so late in the week

Hi Judy, lolled at the cat problem. Ambrose reacts exactly the same when he has to be treated for anything- sulks and sits with his back towards me afterwards. Yes, Christmas is definitely the scary C-word for me.Running late this week, Have a great week, Hugs. Shaz #23,xxx

Super cute. If I had a desk I'd put it there too. How's Dio doing now?
