I was very excited to get it as I had a card idea in mind but I wasn't sure what colors the sunset were. I know that sounds odd but in my mind I had these colors upside down. Maybe I was thinking of Australian sunsets, which would obviously be upside down from the way we see them here in the northern hemisphere (you know, how like pineapple upside down cake is really pineapple right side up cake in Australia).
After I made this card and showed it to my hubby (who declared it cool). I realized that I didn't have to import a Peruvian sunset to find out what a sunset looked like, as I have some right in my living room:
The Fine Print: Desert sunset paintings by my mom (The Queen, right?). Cards stamps and papers by A Muse Studio, inks by Memento, and colored with Copics. Stamps used-Brushstrokes, Fiesta, Wild Blooms, and Hola Amigo. Cardstock used-Violeta, Marigo, Grape, and Sugar. Inks used-Grape Jelly, Lilac Posies, Tangelo, Dandelion, Elderberry and Black. Copics used-W09 and W07 (the darker colors to color in the cactus and the lighter one for the desert floor).

There's nothing more serene than a beautiful sunset, and you have plenty of pretty ones! Great card with that cactus silhouette! I likey!
Hah! Rest assured that pineapple upside down cake is still pineapple upside down cake in Down Under :) Not that I've ever made it, but it sure sounds like a good idea! Hmm, it's morning tea time here, I guess that's what got me thinking about it :)
