Thankful

This week’s A Muse Studio challenge is to make a holiday themed thank you card or a Thanksgiving card.  In keeping with my autumn mood, I made this card for the challenge.  I really enjoyed making this card.  Here in Southern Arizona our leaves don’t change into all those traditional fall colors.  The majority of the trees stay green until they turn brown and fall off (if they shed leaves at all).  There is one tree by my house that must be imported from back east because it turns a very pretty red.  So the red, green, and brown in this card remind me of autumn as I know it.

If you are a card making person, think about joining in this challenge.  You don’t have to use A Muse products and there is a fabulous prize to be had!  Plus, it is fun to play and the more cards we have to ogle, the better!

The Fine Print: all products by A Muse Studio, stamps: “Autumn Leaves” and “Turkey Time,” papers: French Roast, Vanilla, and Cherry wood grain, inks: cranberry, French roast, and fern, embellishments: cherry twine and cranberry pearl jewels.
