My apologizes. I don't really feel like doing that whole blogging/ posting/ commenting/ paying attention to the world thing today. It's not you, it's me.
I made this sympathy card so I could send it to a male friend of mine who recently lost his mother. I was inspired by this card by Nina.
I would say that perhaps I will feel more like doing that blogging/ posting/ commenting/ paying attention to the world thing tomorrow but I doubt it because I have to do a "professional development" thing at work. Those things have a way of sapping your very will to live even when the topic is interesting. Maybe I'd better schedule my next 8 days worth of blog posts now just in case I slip into a coma.
The Fine Print: Stamps by Stampin' Up "So Sorry" and "Wetlands" sets, stamped in rich cocoa Memento ink and that's all she wrote.

perfect card for the occasion Judy. I know the feeling only too well. Hang in there. Will keep you in my thoughts.
It's never easy to make or send a sympathy card. Hugs.
Beautiful sympathy card! LOVE IT!!!
I know how you're feeling right now and think we all do that on occasion. Hang in there.

This is a fabulous masculine card. And, I have to say, every time I read your blog, I crack up. I love your sense of humor.

PJ, a very nice sympathy card. It said all that needed saying, and will mean a lot to your friend. Feel your pain about the work thing getting in the way of fun, but hey, that's what pays for craft supplies. You'll be back when you can, we'll be here! TFS & Hugs
this is wonderful and you have inspired me to get into the stamp room. it's cleaned and everything. i have just been busy digi-scrapping instead.
As we speak, PJ, I hope you aren't in a coma and that you're managing to hold your "professional development feigning interest" pose without bursting into tears or sneezes.
Your design makes a very appropriate and tender sympathy card. Hugs, Darnell
Great design for a Sympathy card. It has a very peaceful feel to it!
Love the serene simplicity of this card! A perfect sympathy card! Hope the Professional development was/is relatively painless.
Oh, yep, kiss your will to live goodbye, lol. Those things are always structured in such a way that you almost feel as if you come out knowing LESS about the damn topic.
This is a beautiful sympathy card - love the rich colours. On a side note, if those are sandpipers (I think) there was a sandpiper in our yard on the weekend. It was obviously lost, poor thing, but it was awfully exciting to see.
I LOve this little scene. LOving the colours of this sympathy card! I've not had that work thing for some time! But, I do call in to remind myself what it was like!and feel a lot better when I walk out.

It's beautiful - so subtle, and such a gorgeous stamp. Slightly horrified to find how much I've missed - apologies - life's been a bit mad!
