Make Up Monday

Time for more blasts from the past, cards that didn't get shared previously but were made quite some time ago.  I thought I'd share some more wisteria cards because well, because they are there.
ABC: A Birthday Celebration with a bit of twine threaded through the sides for added interest.
Here I used an old fashioned border punch to bring a interest to the matted background and dug out some sheer purple ribbon.
And here I was trying to pretend that I understand what these wisteria flowers are all about.

The Fine Print: Most everything by Club Scrap "Wisteria" collection except for the twine (may arts), paper flower (prima), border punch (family treasures), sheer ribbon (denami), and white photo corners (recollections).

Oh and I have just checked out the manly mouse - this is a corker and made me giggle.

Hey PJ, Sorry I'm behind again. Just spent a few moments enjoying your pretty "just there" cards. I am liking all of them, but especially that last one. It looks water colored (I'm impressed with W/C at the moment!). You did a fab job with each one. TFS & hope you are all recovered from the last bout. Hugs

More great cards. Love the way you did the twine on the first card, the design on the second, and the beautiful flowers on the third! Yep, a great set of cards.

which company sells the punch for the corner tags like that? that would be a handy tool to have.

Love the small print. Mostly then, the stamp was club scrap and everything else wasn't?! Love the cards, particularly the simplicity of the border punch in the Matt..and the colour the flower made you use..love it all.

Love the subtle colour of these cards, Judy. Great variety, too. I'm glad you got round to sharing these even if you did make them some time ago, as we wouldn't have wanted to miss them!

Thanks for all your lovely comments on my blog. We had such a lovely day celebrating Mum's birthday. I'm glad you like my new ARTHaven - what you saw in that photo is only about a quarter of it! One day I will get round to making a video tour of it, but I keep hoping I'll get it more organised first! As for my latest creation, I'm so glad you like it. Nappy liners are made of some sort of plastic, like Tyvek but much thinner, and they melt beautifully, and also remain quite soft, which means you can add embroidery, beadwork or other embellishments quite easily. I wish the photos had done this piece better justice though, because it looks quite dull, when it was really glowing with the gold!

The pyramid teabags were pretty manky because they'd been rescued out of the bin and were covered with coffee grounds, and I'm afraid I dumped them after drying them. If I get any more, I will certainly think about making flowers out of them. That's a good idea!

Love all this wisteria! Love the real wisteria flowers but hate how the vines get into everything.

I love wisteria and all of it's glorious color, so these cards are a hit with me! I especially love the old typewriter-type fonts on the first card! Well done!
