Recently when looking through some old What's on Your Workdesk Wednesday posts of mine I discovered that I used to take more long shot views of my living room (where I craft). I thought it was time to revisit that practice.
Here's the view from partially across the room. You can see more of the goodies and supplies I have at hand near my desk. That door is the front door to our house so when you come in, there I am! Oh my, look at that time! I gotta get a move on so I'll make it work on time.
But first, a shot of the desk. It is rather uninspiring today. From left to right I have some cards I made over the weekend on top of my pink princess box, next to that are some large cards I made on Monday, above that are three greeting stamps that I used on some cards that are still unfinished (they are tucked up under the desk overhang). There is a card from my friend, and under that one I need to send, two rolls of ribbon I am going to part with, receipts to three large bills we've had this month, two containers of double stick tape I want to use up and a grouping of glitter glue that may or may not be duplicates. The bright pink bits on top of the desk are cards to be made and the bright yellow/orange thing in the bowl is a roll of party streamers, fun for using on cards!
I leave you with a closeup of the card on my desk that my friend made and for the you who remember my birthday cabinet that lacked drawer pulls, well now it has some fun and funky knobs on it!
The Fine Print: Nope, sorry, I don't know who makes the horse and horseshoe stamps. And for those of you wondering where in the living room the birthday cabinet is, it isn't. It is in the hall closet. You never know, someday somewhere that piece of furniture may be out in the open!

I think you have more room in your craft area than I do in my little 10 x 11 room. Great horse card. I have no idea the maker of that stamp. Thanks for popping by. Hope you got your workout done! Happy WOYWW!

Golly - am very impressed with how orderly everything looks (the opposite of mine at the moment, but who wants to spend precious spare time tidying up?!). Love that set of drawers - that looks fantastically useful as sotrage, and also so fun and quirky with all the different knobs - wonderful!
Sorry I'm still useless as a visitor at the moment... there is some light at the end of the tunnel soon.

What a beautiful space to make art! Love the desk and the cabinet!! Happy WOYWW, Evelyn/Evalila # 53
ooh I love the whole room view and the new knobs :) no idea on the stamp mfg either. I will have to pay attention to look for the club scrap glue. ( did not know they had one) I used to leave double sided tape on my blocks but, some rubber got dented not being able to stick to the how it was stored and then I ruined some cling foam sticking it to the tape side of a block once. one of these days I will have everything organized haha. ~Stacy #48
It's great to see the whole room shot! We can really visualise you in your craft space, beavering away, fighting marauding felines off your tape machine :-)
I adore that chest of drawers...a real Cabinet of Curiosities!

Am I ever jealous of your organized space. Mine looks more like a war zone. I would need a shovel and a dumpster to make mine right. I like living or I would post a picture. DW would not be happy. LOL.
Hugs and Blessings

Love the room picture, and those knobs on the drawers are ace. Love the randomness. Have a great week,Hugs,Shaz #11 xxx
What a lovely shot of your room. Your desk looks so orderly. What a lovely horse image. Your drawer stack is really special. Thank you for dropping by earlier. Have a lovely week. Barb#29 xx
LOve seeing your workspace....makes me feel like a virtual visitor, and helps picture you at work (which I hope you got to in time!).
Cabinet looks awesome with all those knobs.....another work of art! xxx
Thank you for the guided tour of the Princess's Palace, Judy! Somehow I hadn't visualised the desk being not up against a wall, but I can see why, with the door being where it is. Sorry not to see any kitties today - hope they are all thriving. It's a lovely room with lots of space for stash, and it all looks very organised! I do love that cabinet with all the funky drawer pulls - very imaginative. I've got 2 small cabinets that need stripping down and repainting (and decorating too - decoupage maybe?) and I think perhaps I might do something similar and have different knobs on the drawers! What fun.
Thank you for your lovely comment and I'm glad you like my faux leather. It's really easy to do and it looks and feels incredibly real. As for me always having finished something just before WOYWW, I have to guard against a staged desk - but seeing the aftermath is better than a bare desk lol!
Happy WOYWW,

A very tidy craft space - even when viewed from afar! Love your new drawer pulls - they finish off your storage unit perfectly.

Great view of your craft haven and how lovely to be able to pop up and great every person who enters. My family would be so annoyed.... which makes me want to move my room. Your birthday cabinet is stunning and the collection of draw pulls is lovely. Have a lovely week.

Do you ever feel like a receptionist when people come in the front door? :)
And that birthday cabinet neeeeeds to come out of the closet and be displayed front and center. It's too cool to hide!
Great card from your friend & I love your cabinet! Glad you survived your first appt!
