Workdesk Wed #311
I'm here to show off my barely used work desk as part of the What's on Your Workdesk Wednesday blog hop. It has a few odds and ends on it, mostly incoming stuff to me and not any new projects. There are a few things I am hoping to get to sometime in the near future.
I know most folks are more interested in how the closet destruction project from last week turned out. The answer is quite lovely if I do say so myself. The new cabinet looks good and it is roomier in the closet now. Apparently I'm going to have to run a Go-Fund-Me campaign to get hardware for that thing though. Decent hardware is going to cost more than the cabinet.
As I was standing in the hall taking this picture I felt that I was in mortal danger. And indeed I was being stalked....
The Fine Print: Anyone else notice that Charles is missing his left side eyebrow whiskers? I have no idea where they went. It wasn't a mishap with the paper cutter this time (or if it was, I wasn't the one running the paper cutter). Happy day to you!

You were lucky to escape there, Charlie looks ferocious...not. Isn't he a cutie but how funny to have lost his whiskers. I bet he found your scissors, lol.
Good luck with tracking down some hardware for your cabinet. You'll have to trawl round Junk shops to see what you can find.

That desk looks kind of bare without a cat in the upper right corner. The closet looks awesome. Have you checked thrift stores for hardware? Habitat for Humanity has a thrift store that might have that sort of hardware. Tucson, Arizona

hahaha I know hardware is so not fun to pay for... but, seriously make the add be for the second set of drawers while you are at it.. poor Charles.. at least hair grows back. :) the closet looks super too!
Glad you survived the Cat Attack! I'm wondering what kind of drawer hardware you are thinking about? And what did you do with that other storage that had to come out? There's a lot of drawers there, can you remember what you have put in any of them? Aren't we stickybeaks?
Yes, I am getting good use out of that tree die. As part of the Year of Not Buying Lots of Stuff, when I do actually buy stuff, I must use it ... immediately :)

Your reorganized space looks fantastic! It's great to get organized, isn't it! Charles is so cute. My previous cat lost his eyebrow whiskers in a candle mishap - he was a bit too curious and got too close. I didn't use candles after that! Some of his whiskers were curled up from the heat. They did eventually grow back but it took quite a while!
Wow love that new space it looks so organized, good job done well. Poor Charles did you chase him with the scissors for pouncing on you? LOL

Oh I love that storage unit good luck on finding handles look on kijiji if your not trying to match them or a restore(charity supply store if you have those there) I always find tons of handles at them
