Six Years of WOYWW

I certainly haven't been playing along for the entire six years, but how exciting that What's on Your Workdesk Wednesday is now six years old!  Why that's almost old enough to be trotted about in public.

Before I show you my desk I will show you my not-desk. I worked off my table this past weekend because hubby shampooed the carpet and the place under my desk where the chair goes was slow to dry.  Then once it dried it seemed like too much work to drag all that stuff back over to the desk.
Items of interest (or not) are the SU stamps set I'm using, my bucket of card bases, Big Shot, paper cutter, box of shaped dies (like circles, ovals, squares), some tools, the work space, ribbon, Copic markers and inks. I made quite a lot of cards sitting at my table this weekend.
Here's what my desk looked like before I headed out to work this morning. On the upper left you can see the buckets of card bases back in their places so yes, that means the table is all picked up and everything put away now. I haven't started on my next bunch of projects yet nor do I know what they will be.

I can say I have a new organizer for on top of my desk, so stay tuned because one of these days I am bound to show it off in its new place.  It's just that the whole desk maneuvering seems like a lot of work, doesn't it?

The Fine Print: Sorry I'm late to the party but I brought the heavy drinks so it should be good.  And by heavy I mean the strawberry shakes and the chocolate malts.  It's all good! Hey, I just realized that you can see a glimpse of my new organizer in the bottom right hand corner of the top photo (not the WOYWW logo, silly).

Your husband shampooed your carpet? Does he fancy coming over to Wiltshire and doing some of mine?! I can do heavy drinks too....cups of tea, juice....I could even extend to a Virgin Mary....Whaddya think? ;-)
A new organiser sounds fab...all ready to fill in. There's something about all those fresh pages. Oooh lovely!
Happy 6th WOYWW, thanks for all your support and fab comments :-)

It looks like there's lots more room behind your rolltop than I originally envisioned. Sometimes it's good to see a longer and wider view. Putting everything back was surely not as much fun as taking it away. I know that's true for me, at least.

Happy, happy 6th WOYWW anniversary from #1.

I could just go a strawberry milkshake - although a shot of rum might make it more interesting. Heavens, now I'm really thinking about it. I have been quite productive lately which means that when I have my sneaky not gonna tell anyone week at home next week to do crafting Mr Mojo will have decided he needs a rest. Oh well there is always gardening. I had to start sorting out my die cuts, especially when I use the electronic cutter cos I just cut a whole sheet and I end up with a lot. I had them all in a BIG box but was spending so long sorting through it was driving me nuts. What isn't clear from the photo is that there are in fact three boxes of leafy die-cuts because, who knew, not all greens are the same. 2 to 3 diff greens in each one. The flowers are kinda going the same way. I have created a monster. Happy WOYWW6 Cindy xx

Oh how nice..a clean carpet under your desk. I had to clean mine the other day because I dumped a bottle of decopage medium on my lap which then dripped on the carpet! It seems funny now but boy was I mad at the time LOL Thanks for stopping by my desk yesterday <3 Shel @ PaperOcotilloStudio

There's an empty space next to the pen holder. Isn't that a cat-sized space?

Forgot to say ... that box of handmade flowers from the 1st woyww anniversary came from Cardarian, in Slovenia! (She's moved to England now.) So, I have no idea how much it would have cost to send, but sending anything like that from here would have cost a lot! Our postage rates have gone up again recently :(

Another late one, but sometimes life gets in the way of crafty fun. I did a double-take when I saw the $ on the desk. I guess I never really thought about you being in the USA, being displaced myself :) Tidy desk, maybe too tidy. Go and make a mess...

Happy belated 6th-anniversary WOYWW!

Do you think men have a 'thing' about household gadgets! My hubby insists on doing the washing and vacuuming ….and I'm not arguing!! Hope your desk doesn't stay tidy for too long!! Chrisx 63
