Julia is hosting the 296th Workdesk Wednesday today as she does every week. I've been trying to make it a point to come and play. I find it very inspiring to see what others are up to with their crafting projects and to see how others have their desks and craft rooms organized. I will say that WOYWW does tend to be a bit harsh on your budget though.
The desk is tidy and dull, most of the same stuff from last week is still there, just neatened out some. I did work on a few of my UFOs but I had to take time out to make a few swap cards, birthday cards, and the like. Since I haven't finished the stuff on my desk I don't have any new projects in the works.
I did open a kit box that had leftover scraps in it and whip up these four cards the other evening instead of working on the stuff on my desk. That was my little act of rebellion against myself.
One of the UnFinished Objects on my desk was this card. I kept putting off gluing the front to the card base because I felt it needed something more. I finally decided it was really a CAS card and I should accept that, glued it together and called it done. That's it for me this week!
The Fine Print: Kit card stuff mostly from Club Scrap, some from my stash; hello card parts by A Muse Studio. I swear Charles has moved off my desk since last week but he does like to lounge up there in the mornings.

You know what? I love the CAS card and it is so finished. Needed nothing else. Brilliant!
The other cards are great too, love the autumnal colours.
Have a good week - no shooting husbands.

I like seeing your work space! Looks like kitty enjoys it there too! Your cards look great! Love the papers on the set you shared. Your CAS card looks finished to me! TFS!
Well you little rebel you . . . what a great way to use up those leftovers, and your CAS card is super cute.

Love your rebellion cards! The CAS card looks as though it was meant to be! Pity Kitty didn't turn round!!! Chris 43
I can understand the siren call of tempting stash on WOYWW, but that's where I'm lucky....paper products and stamping ephemera are quite safe from me! Whereas show me a fabric shop and I'm like a dog with three tails :-)
Of course I'll make you a tote if you're sure, let me know if you want to go ahead!
Hugs, LLJ 26 xx
I tend to look at my CAS cards as almost a form of cheating. ( no clue why ) maybe because, that is how I started making cards and I have you know tried just about everything over the years so, its funny that the everything goes through cycles thing is really true. even with designs. I like this Card. :) ~Stacy #77
All of your cards are really nice, especially the rebels!
Thanks for the visit to my blog earlier and for the kind words.
Happy creating and happy woyww,

I like CAS. And really with the colors and the arrow and that die cut sentiment, it is rather a striking card. Love your neat desk this week. It is inviting you to play! :) #32
Hi PJ am I the only one who doesn't know what a CAS card is ( excuse my stupidity)... But I like the colours and simplicity. Your desk looks a bit forlorn.... Even the current kitty has turned his back on it .. You need to get messy girl lol
You mentioned my fairy lights .... They are actually made from felt and blanket stitched together and sequins sewn Jon the front it make them slightly twinkly, just for fun instead of bunting
Janet @18 ... Thanks for your visit
I am loving that desk and well the neatness, I guess we will have to forgive you for making the rest of us look bad! LOL! I also like the fur baby sitting on top of said desk helping your must think of some projects you can start! :D Your cards are gorgeous by the way.

I don't think your desk is boring and wow what a great bunch of cards, of course there is the man of the moment not wanting to participate in a photo shoot. Give him a tickle from me.
Happy WOYWW

I always love your desk and when it's clean I can see that beautiful thing better. How clever are you, just whipping those fantastic cards up out of scraps. Have a great week,

Hello there! You made me giggle on your act of rebellion! Stunning cards! I like your CAS one too! Great work. We should all rebel if we could get this kind of results!!! Your desk is amazing. OH my heavens mine is a wreck from trying to get out deadlines!!!
You've got such a tidy and well organized desk - with half a kitty on it, LOL! I love your kit cards - that patterned paper at the front is orgasmic! Your CAS card is great too - the negative space is well balanced against the bottom third of the card. Thanks for visiting my blog earlier! You forgot to leave your number but I managed to track you down, ha! Have a great weekend! zsuzsa @ InkyDinkyDoodle #34
Hi Judy, I can't stand this tidy desk much longer, I will have to come round and help you to mess it up Lol! It's so tidy that your kitty has room to sit on it. I hope you have time to do make a mess soon Lol! Angela x
I love a little bit of anarchy in the craft room. Never give up that roll top desk it is gorgeous. I only dream of white desk and space because I saw it on pinterest but then I would never keep it clean :-)

Very CAS and very COOL! xxx
Yep - I have already been over to Amazon and added a couple of bits to my wishlist from a couple of the desks this week! :P
Go on - what does CAS mean?

Hi Judy. Love those cards - and, as usual, a lovely neat desk. Oh, if only I could manage that. If ever you are in Wales, you will let me know and come visit to show me how, now won't you?!
Glad you enjoyed peeping at the crochet and travel journal. Thanks for your comments. Took the wavy one to church yesterday for the Parental Care table.... lasted 2 minutes before it was taken and a gift given to the Mission! Maybe that means I can sit and make another? What do you reckon??
Take care. God bless.
