Weird Phenomena

The queerest thing happened this past weekend.  The sun didn't get up in the morning and the sky growled at us.  Then this watery wet stuff fell from it.  It was completely odd and possibly unnatural.

That kind of weather reminds me of how as teens our mother would tell us, "Don't forget your rubbers!" which would send my little brother into peels of laughter.  We live in Southern Arizona, we don't have wet weather gear, which is a shame because I'd looked darling in a pair pink polka dotted boots like these.

The Fine Print:  Stamps by Taylored Expressions and papers from them too although they just kitted it together.  They didn't make the paper. They just made the paper come to me.

What a fun card Judy, and those wellies (as we call them in the UK) are adorable. I might be wrong but I think Sam (Hettie) has a pair with chooks on or something equally brilliant.

Fun card. Fun story. As a kid I loved to play in the rain. Didn't matter if there was lightening and thunder. Didn't care. Had to play in the rain. Drove mother nuts because if she didn't watch me I just HAD to be out there getting wet. LOL. Then some one has to ruin it by telling us the lightening would kill us. Not might but would. Bummer. LOL.

Blessings

LOL! Love the little "rubbers"! So cute and pretty AND send some much needed rain our way now. I'd even haul out the "rubbers" if I had some!

What a perfect spring card, PJ! You would look adorable in pink polka dotted wellies and if the weather continues its Weird Phase, you might have to get yourself a pair.

Actually, according to my DIL, who was sporting a HUGE pair of rubbers to the museum on Saturday, wearing them in perfectly dry climes is all the rage right now! Who decides these things?? Hugs, Darnell

This is a lovely card Judy, pretty papers and fun wellies.
We've been having rather a lot of your 'unnatural' weather in the UK!

Hi Judy. Cute card. Who wouldn't want pink boots?
I heard about your group from Patty and JJ. We are in a Yahoo group that is down to about 5 active members, and none of us have moderator status so we can't really set up swaps, etc. (the group owner simply disappeared and hasn't answered numerous emails asking to make one of us a mod.) So I'm hoping to migrate to your group.

ADORABLE~ loved your story. I've never owned a pair of rain boots. I think i might have to remedy that. Aren't these cute???

Water fell from the SKY?!?!?!?!?! NO! O-O

And these days I don't think it matters WHAT you wear. One summer I saw a girl in cut-offs and a tank to wearing Uggs. Her feet HAD to be on fire. SO you go right ahead and get a polka dot pair of Wellies and start a trend!!!!

This is adorable and I am giggling at your mom and a pair of teens being told not to forget their rubbers! :)

Love the pretty background for these sweet polka dotted boots!

Cute boots. Cute card. Love the floral DP. And you'd look a real fashionista frying your bacon, with the boots footgear too. Still cute no doubt. Mental vision of that! TFS & Hugs

Harrumph - we've had nothing but the growling and the wet stuff for months! Though I have to concede today was gorgeous... Besides, I don't think you need rain for wellies this cute - just wear'em!

I totally enjoyed the grey skies and wet weather last week. Wish it would visit again! And Yes...you would look great in some cute rubbers! I have seen some in Costco and get sooooo tempted to buy...but then I schmack myself in the head and say "ARE YOU FREAKIN' STUPID?!" LOL! So...as you can probably guess...the only rubbers Stupid Lori has is stamps! ;)
