Snippet Christmas Critters

After I made yesterday's Christmas cards I dutifully picked up the 422 different items I had to drag out to make those cards. I was feeling all smug about myself for keeping tidy when I realized that I left the leftover designer paper bits out on my desk.
So I pulled out the same stamp set and some other leftover bits and bobs to whip out these Christmas cards using up the paper snippets.  Seriously, it is going to take me the rest of my life to use up all my designer Christmas paper if I make sure to use every single scrap.
I also used some of the scrap loose ribbon I have and random pieces of cardstock for the images and layers.  There are lots of snippets on these cards, including the card bases which have been in my possession for a long time.  It feels good to use up all those little stashes of surplus.

I'm linking this up with Pixie's Crafty Snippet Playground. I haven't visited in so long I hope they remember me!

"The Fine Print: Stamp set by Taylored Expressions "Deck the Halls," stitched circle die by MFT, scallop square and square dies by Spellbinders, designer paper by DCWV, ribbon and eyelets from my stash.

Helloooooooooooooooo there PJ!! Who could ever forget you dear girl?!

So lovely to see you playing along again - and with such a darling image and two lovely cards as well. Now, go sit in the corner whilst the other playmates flutter round asking where you've been for so long :) No doubt they'll also be frisking you for sweeties :)

Hugs

I so know what you mean. And that's kind of sad. We use up every teeny little scratch people. It's a disease I'm sure. But you did a wonderful job with these two little cards. And you'll think yourself later

Judy, I thought you'd dropped off the face of the earth! I just quit getting updates from you in my reader and thought you were gone. Think I'll follow by email now since the reader thingy isn't working right!

This is SO cute! Love that background paper you used and the little reindeer is so adorable. I know exactly what you mean about too much paper. I keep telling myself I have too much - and then get more!

Let me tell you a story about my 12x12 DSP collection ... I SOLD IT! I DID! I purged all that stuff and sold it. I've also gotten over the "use every last scrap" thing. I figure if I get 6 cards out of a 12.12 piece of paper, I've done more than my part, ya know?

However, I can still be proud and amazed that you keep on going, you little Energizer bunny, you!

You know, I thought the penguin was so cute, but this guy might even be cuter... I must have a thing about animals entwined in strings of lights. Both cards are excellent -- the bits and bobs on your desk seem to go together well.

Love this cheeky little reindeer with his quizzical expression. and that DP reminded me of an old quilt pattern. Perfect with little rudy. I hear you about the Christmas papers. I should use all my old packs and quit buying new stuff. Ya'll have a great weekend, and TFS. Oh yes, terrific snippet make too! Parsnip will adore it. Hugs
