Peek-a-Boo Snow Day Card

I made a similar card to this at a workshop a couple of months ago.  My friend insisted that since I had all the stamps I needed to make another one of them.  I got crazy and decided to go for it even though it is a feat of engineering.  Here is the closed front looking like your every day gatefold card with a spot of twine holding it closed.
As it opens up you notice that the inside focal point is hidden but slowly coming into view...
Once you open the card all the way up you can see it in its entirety.  Ta da!  Peek-a-Boo, I see you!
We will not be making 70 of those for our Christmas card this year.

The Fine Print: Stamps by Stampin' Up, label punch but Stampin' Up, snowflake punch by Martha, oval die by Spellbinders, designer paper by DCWV and glitter tape by CTMH.

A stunning card, PJ! Fabulous penguins and great colours. I am normally quite good at figuring out different folds etc, but this one looks well complicated to me! One for special occasions then ;)

Hi PJ. Just saw your comment at another blog and was able to link and pop over very quickly to wish you the Happiest of 2015. Enjoyed seeing this fabulous folded card and am just admiring your card fold skills. Loved the dp, the image and your wonderful bellyband closure too! Great card to start off 2015 with a big bang. Hope that your holidays were just marvelous and looking forward to all your crafty work during 2015. Big Hugs & TFS
