Today was not my day. Obviously, it wasn't International Princess Judy Day (which would be a paid holiday if such a day existed) but that isn't how I meant that. I mean that today must have been someone else's day to have all the happiness, rainbows, butterflies, and well-being, cuz it sure wasn't mine.
That didn't stop me from playing today though. It did stop me from creating anything worth sharing though, except for this fine snippet card. I've had this piece of patterned paper on my desk for quite awhile. I've been waiting for divine inspiration to come along and help me make something cool with it.
And indeed, you can see that something divine did come along. In keeping with the spirit of snippets, the jewled brad, the card base and one of the brown scrolls was already lurking on my desk. I just had to stamp the greeting on a scrap of paper, dig out some flowers, pearls, and crystal accents. I also had to cut another scroll. I really like that die now that I've discovered the proper amount of shims and swear words to make it cut out each and every little section.
The Fine Print: Patterned paper by unknown, greeting by Komodo Inc, flowers by Prima, fancy scrollwork by Memory Box, glossy accents by Ranger, pearls by Queen & Co. and A Muse Studio.

Oh dear PJ . . . you sound a little sorry for yourself . . . I hope you feel heaps better soon hon.
Despite have a bad day . . . your card is most EXCELLENT. I really love it.
Know what you mean about intricate dies too, but they are SOOO worth it when they go right! xxx
Yikes PJ - is Sarn on a takeover bid as keeper of the playground keys? She beat me here, although I was still giggling and typing at 2am so haven't been awake very long.
Totally adore your card Judy, like Sarn I hope you feel really much better soon. I think you came up trumps with your super card, love the 'corrct number of shims and swear words' technique
BTW, what are teeter totters? OK, no worries, I just looked them up on Google :))
Have a good day honey!

A gorgeous card, I especially love all those swirls, they are really beautiful :)
Have a lovely Sunday, Luv Karen xx
I've been known to have to use six shims which is ridiculous, but needs must when crafting! Love the swirls, what make are they?
6 shims IS ridiculous. Have you ever heard of a product (a shim I believe) called "no more shims"? I've only heard of it. I'm curious though. Those fancy scrolls are by Memory Box.
You crack me up Judy and love your sense of humor as always. Sometimes just working with those leftover pieces can make the most beautiful card as yours is.
I checked out that 'no more shims' after you mentioned it before and it might be something worth having. Waiting for Michaels to get it...
Those swirls are to die for. Almost worth an extra dunking in the duck pond to get my hands on it.Lol. Hugs Mrs A.
Fabulous snippet make Judy, love the swirls (they were worth the shims and swear words).
Hope your week got better.

You crack me up but I do understand the 'proper amount of shims and swear words'. Your card is fabulous!
Blessings Bernie

Lovely card Judy and love that you judge dies by the number of swear words you use for each one! LOL!
