Pink and Brown Challenge

I made this card for the pink and brown challenge for the A Muse Studio Challenge Blog.  They do a different challenge every week.  This week’s challenge was to be inspired by A Muse’s yummy pink and brown colors: French Roast and Bubblegum.  Pink and brown are just such fun colors together.

The Challenge Blog does not require that we use a|s products, which means that you too could play along.  I knew right away that I wanted to use the Rock Star set for this card because who doesn’t want to rock with a hot pink guitar?* And of course, I get twitchy if I don’t get to include patterned paper, so I found some fab pink, brown and glittery paper that just rocked and the card came together.  For some reason I never got around to putting any French Roast brown on this card but it worked out anyway.
* Note that was rhetorical question, I don’t need you to tell me that Eddie Van Halen, Tony Iommi, Dave Mustaine, Ace Frenhley, KK Downing, Pete Townshend, Rudolf Schenker, Ted Nugent, Mick Mars, Slash, James Hetfield, Nigel Tufnel, etc. are too manly to rock the pink. And you know what?  I’ll bet they’d do it.  Totally.  In yer face!

The Fine Print: Stamps “Rock Star” set, cardstock base “Toffee”, pink satin ribbon “Bubblegum,” pink ink “Bubblegum,” and pink star bling all by A Muse Studio.  Patterned paper with glitter by DCWV and brown ink on greeting by Memento “Rich Cocoa.”
