This is a CASE card from Pinterest. I don't peruse Pinterest much but every once and awhile something catches my eye and I have to try it out. The card I copied was black and white (and yellow) but I went for the in-color, Emerald Envy green since I happened to have the ink, the patterned paper and the cardstock. So matchy matchy!
I did this card at a card making class I conducted. My friends were out of touch with stamping so I wanted them to get a chance to experience the joy of die cutting. We used the negative piece for this card and they took the cut out word home with them.

It is a great layout and I do love the Emerald color! How fun to be able to take home the word die cut to use in other projects. That is a good strategy to get people to enjoy die cutting!
This is so pretty and summery - lovely colours! I wish I could come to one of your classes but it's a bit far to come! xxx
I love the colours you,ve chosen Judy. It's a lovely card and bet your friends enjoyed making theirs too. Barbxx
Everyone loves matchy-matchy and die-cutting, PJ, so I'm sure this pretty summery card was a big hit with the class! Plus, they got the bonus of the word to take home!! Hugs, Darnell
Lovely fresh feel to this - our sunshine seems to have vanished today - had to switch on all the lights at 11am.

I'm going to guess that having the brighter colors rather than B&W makes this card much more of a knockout. I love the cheerful colors and I really like how you've used that negative piece for the sentiment. I never think ahead to place a die so that I can do this and have it look well. Good for you!! (I like Pinterest, but have to ration it. Too big of a timewaster for me! Well, not really, but you know what I mean :-) TFS
