Plaid Christmas

Plaid is where it is at these days. I recently purchased a couple of plaid shirts from a sea of plaid in a department store (so I can look like a lumberjack, natch). And over at both  Merry Monday and the Double D Challenges this week the challenge is to use plaid on your creations.
So I pulled out a Merry Mouse and made a card with a plaid background. I didn't make just any old card though, I opted for a more interactive one--a wiper card. When you pull the sides this surprise piece pops up.

The Fine Print: I didn't get to wear my lumberjack shirt to work today. Instead we have to support our sports team and wear these neon pink shirts. At least we won't be mistaken for a deer in the woods and shot (nevermind there are no woods). All products on my card except cardstock by Stampin' Up.

Love your wiper card in all its plaid-ness, except I'm trying hard not to buy those cute mice, but I'm glad you didn't get mistook for a tree or a lumberjack xxx

If it were up to me, plaid would be where its at every day. The only thing I bought on my trip to England for myself was a tartan plaid PURSE and matching wallet. It's yummy! And so is your card, PJ!! You just missed the Muse Christmas Visions where it would have been a shoe-in!! (BTW, picture me bowing down to you being able to make these fancy interactive cards!!) Hugs, Darnell

I do love the warmth of plaid on a Christmas card, and this is darn cute to boot! It's so cool that you made it interactive, too. Very fun! Thanks bunches for sharing this in our Plaid challenge at Double D!

I never saw a wiper card before, but it couldn't have been any cuter with that fun little mouse! Love the pinecone and pine branch with that pretty plaid paper!

You're a lumberjack and you're OK. In my book, plaid is always good.
This is super cute. Did not know this was called a wiper card -- this is the kind of card Helen sent me.

Cute as pie - love the mouse, and the plaid makes a great frame. Those rustic pinecones are the perfect accompaniment.
