WOYWW--Workdesk Wednesday The February 15th Edition

I know I have been a lady of few words lately and since Workdesk Wednesday has so many people partaking these days I'll try to keep it that way today.  What is Workdesk Wednesday, you ask?  What, have you been living in a hole in the ground (sans internet)? I ask back.  WW is a chance to visit a whole slew of different workdesks and see what they look like and what folks are up to.  Here's my desk:
It has a big pile of stuff on the left that is mostly sympathy cards, mixed in with some Valentine's Day cards and probably a few bills (how tedious).  There are also some of the cards I've shown on this blog in the pile too.  What there isn't is anything new.  I just don't have it in me to create anything.  There is a Penny Black hedgehog stamp is front center that I got out to make a swap card but I just can't do anything with it.  My creativity has just curled up into a little ball and won't come out to play.  Quite a bummer too because I have these to play with:

These stamps are Valentine's presents from my loved one.  No, my husband, not the cat.  I love Penny Black and that is a fun stamp, I wanted those Hero Art peacocks for awhile now and the cat set is just funky!  I'm quite excited to have them but still the creativity stays curled up.  I'm good at making messes though.  Here's my table:
Lots of stuff there, some more Penny Black stamps, A Muse Studio stamps, and my new long plates for my Big Shot still in the package!  Wake up, creativity!  Wake up!  Nope, only thing that woke up was the cat:

Do these pictures seem slightly kind of out of focus to you or are my eyes tired?  This is a new camera, not quite as point-and-shoot-y as the old one.  Might have to make techy man fiddle with it more.

I just love your big desk with all the drawers. So great to have everything within easy reach. As for the photos, it's only the cat one that looks a little out of focus to me.

I love your craft space. And the cat? My first thought was 'is it real?'!! Hope you soon work out the ins and outs of your camera and get your mojo back.

I love the presents your husband got you! I hate when my camera takes a blurry picture, but your cat is very cute either way!

Happy WOYWW!

Judy, what an adorable little kitty! And you sound as blessed as me in your hubby - mine is so generous and thoughtful!! Your creative space looks nice and busy, even if there aren't any new creations at the moment! Thanks for popping by my blog. Sheba and I are finally getting it together (with a lot of help from my friends on the Black Cat forum!) and I'm beginning to see the light on this steep learning curve, using a cutter which makes most of the craft cutters look like toys... I am actually working with silver mirror card at the moment, but metal is certainly on the agenda. The Cougar cutters emboss and engrave beautifully. Happy WOYWW, Shoshi #35

Hell Princess Judy,

Your kittie is just so darn cute! The photos don't look out of focus to me... but maybe my eyes are tired to? The rest of me is!

You have lots on your desk so just play and touch everything. Maybe your mojo will jump out and yell "SURPRISE!!"

P.S. I'm lovin' working with the mixed media -- you should try it!!

Hugs,
Kay

Your cat is beautiful! I love that peacock stamp set, especially. The peacocks would be lovely embossed with turquoise embossing powder. . . or stamped in black and outlined with a marker?

It looks like a busy workspace, but when you don't have any inspiration everything stops... new materials or not. Love the Penny Black stamps. They are so cute and they are great to colour. Hope you get your Mojo back soon. Thanks for visiting me. Bye, Franka

You've got rather a lot on your plate at the moment - crafting will happen when you're ready. Don't feel pressurised to do anything you just don't feel like.
On a happier note, that is one fab puss cat!! How cute (and nosy) :)
You take care of yourself,

Love the fact that your desk is tidy but your creative surface and area is heaving with things to nose around.

The only one that looked a little blurry was the kitty one, and it's probably cause he was moving! Hope your mojo returns soon! LOVE the Hero Arts peacock stamp set, wow!! Love taking a peek at your workspace, waving hi from the hills of North Carolina :)

Maybe you just need a wee break for some self pampering...a coffee out with girlfriends, a manicure for a treat...whatever. Sometimes I can tweak my mojo bu getting myself in a different emotional place ( fancy way of saying...just treat yourself!

You got some lovely stamps for Valentine's day. Lucky you. My cat didn't do anything like that for me!!

Your cat may seem out of focus, but I think it's a GREAT photo. Love the way you captured the eyes.

Thanks for your earlier visit, too. Happy WOYWW from #3.

I can certainly understand why your mojo is missing. You have some lovely stamps. Maybe if you CASE a card with the same stamps it will jump start you a wee bit. Good luck!

Your kitty, out of focus or not, is VERY cute! And yes, I do ALWAYS need more books! I nearly hyperventilated when I found that brand new William Morris book for $2 (AUD)! And, by the way, have you been to my house? I also have books piled all over the floors. The wall of bookcases overflowed years ago! So you think I could find a book suitable for altering there, wouldn't you, hehe!

Your desk looks so nice and neat. I'm also envious of your new stamps--they're all great.

Ohhh that kitty is cute... mojo in a ball. Maybe it is time to curl up and read a book on art techniques and get inspired all over again. I know what you mean about using ovals or circles, I go through phases of using my scalloped circle and I love it as much as a butterfly.

I think just the pic of your cute cat is out of focus - and it looks like it's because it was in the process of pouncing on you!
Your creativity will flood back at any moment - we all go through phases like that unfortunately.

Thanks for stopping by my blog!

The best way I have found to get my mojo to wake up is to have a really good tidy up and force myself to go through everything and find a place for every bit of paper. By the time I have done that, my mojo is screaming at me to get busy with all the things I had forgotten I had. Thank you for visiting and suggesting ideas for those cards. You do not need to rush off, even though I warmed your coat, I just did not want to hog your valuable time. Stay as long as you like. xx Maggie #98

You certainly have some wonderful stamps to play with when Mr Mojo makes his return! It is frustrating when he just takes off like that without even a note to say when he will be back! But he always does come back :)
Your kitty cat is beeyootiful!!!
