Skating on Thin Ice

It is much to much too cold in these parts for this lizard girl.  I know my friends who live in colder climates always like to ask, "Well, how cold is that?"  The answer is 52 F.  Anything under 80 makes me whine.  I traded in my blood for salsa a long time ago.  Anyway, the colder temps put me in the right frame of mind for the latest swap card I made.  The theme is winter sports. Since my mojo is still on the fritz I had a bit of struggle with this card as well, but not as much as yesterday's card.  My biggest issue with this card was adhering the ribbon much lower on the card than I intended, leaving off a scalloped piece all together and deciding what color of snowflakes I wanted.  It all worked out in the end and that is what counts.  I'm starting to get a little spark of interest in my new stamps so maybe the mojo is working his way back home.  That would be awesome!

The Fine Print: skate stamp by A Muse Artstamps, circle and scallop circle punches by Marvy, snowflake punches by Martha Stewart, ribbon by DeNami, all papers except the card base by Basic Grey.

Hello!

We think it is wonderful here at 40 degrees - 52! - summer! Love your card! Wishing you a happy weekend!

Perfect! I guess minus 5 degrees wouldn't be too good then? Di xx
