In Your Bowl

Lookie! Lookie! I was soooo proud of myself for making this shaker card without adult supervision. I'm not sure why I get myself so worked up over shaker cards. They aren't nearly as hard as I think they are going to be.

I suspect it is because I learned to do them back in the day when the backing was foam core (like those presentation boards for your kid's science project). Those things were the biggest bitch to cut.

Then I learned foam tape and all the shaker bits stuck to them. Now I know the trick to wipe some baby powder down the sides of the foam tape with a cotton swab to remove the stickiness. And it helps to use quality foam tape, not that old stuff from the dollar store you found in the back of your drawer.

Life in my bowl is awesome!

FABULOUS shaker card PJ! The fish bowl idea is just so clever and what a result! I keep a roll of foam tape especially for shaker cards, Have wiped both sides (ie the edges) of the complete roll with baby talc and keep it in a poly bag with all the million and one other types of tape here - it just saves getting the baby powder out each time - lazy or what?
