Mostly I read true crime, biography, detective style mystery, and zombie stories. I came up with some weird ideas but lacked blood splatter and didn't feel yanking out the H'ween stamps for zombies. So I decided to go back in time when I was younger, more innocent and read things like nursery rhymes.
I have fond recollections of Hey, Diddle, Diddle, the cat and the fiddle and that cow jumping over the moon. There seems to be lacking a little laughing dog, but we definitely have a dish running away with the spoon. I'd like to think the dish and the spoon are running towards the dishwasher, but I am known for flights of fancy.
Since I used a snippet of orange paper and that blue backing layer I'm heading out to Pixie's Snippet Playground as well to see if anyone knows the next line to this little ditty: Jack and Jill went up the hill, to do some hanky panky.
The Fine Print: Hey Diddle Diddle by Stampabilities, border punch by Martha, designer paper from DCWV and CTMH. Extra credit points if you know what the title of this post is referencing.

Cute card!
Or... perhaps they are running AWAY from the dishwasher and all that scalding heat! It's a darling card, PJ, and perfect for the SOS challenge! I think you might have me stumped on that ditty, but here I go. Since the original rhyme didn't, in fact, rhyme ...
Jack and Jill went up the hill, to do some hanky-panky.
Jack fell down and lost his pants
And Jill kept coming after.
Oh I think that might be too naughty! Hugs, Darnell
Fantastic! Thanks for joining the crew at SHOPPING OUR STASH for our "Inspired by a Book" challenge!!
What a sweet card with that lovely image Judy. Darnell deserves a black mark! Barbxx
Don't think I can top Darnell's finish! Wonder what happened to the little laughing dog? Love the card and as always, enjoyed the visit!
Cute nursery rhyme image... I think if the dish and the spoon have any sense they'd be running AWAY from the dishwasher - too scary! I'd still be interested to see a Zombie version!

Hmmmmn you have me thinking!!
We have a reader....you have a Kindle?
The dog has been naughty and had to dash behind the tree to do his business?
Jack and Jill went up the hill to do some hanky panky.
Jack was surprised to learn this night, that Jill is really Miss Spanky!!
Great card.

perfect. i like how all your colors tie in with the DP
What a fun take on the challenge with this card! I'm loving the colors and story inspiration too. As for the little ditty, I think Darnell may have the best response!
Oh gosh, this takes me back - love the "original drawing" look of the stamp. Great card. xx
Spanky and Cranky are the only things I have to rhyme with Panky . . . but I am no poet, so I'll just carry on letting everyone do their own thing with their imagination.
I don't know about the Post Title . . . but am thinking along the same lines as Hettie.
Oh, and terrific nursery rhyme card too BTW . . . if you'd gone with the zombies, I have run away!

Brilliant card PJ! And I did have a good giggle at all the ribald comment and suggestions left by folk who I really thought were much more ladylike :)
