Desk Day

Here we again at the place that some people refer to as Hump Day but the rest of us consider to be What's on Your Workdesk Wednesday.  Follow the link to check it out.
Overall my desk doesn't look too much different from previous posts. Those more eagle eyed of you may spot something largely different (no, not the hubby lurking in the background; he's the same one as always).
Here are some things that I am currently working on and/or ignoring (mostly the latter). I need to get a birthday card out to a friend so the postage stamps are front and center to jog my memory as are the birthday dies.  The Pets paper was used to cut out elements for a doggie house card that I made recently. I have some newer A Muse Studio stuff out to play with too.  The stuff stacked to the left needs to be put away as does many other things.  Hey, do you guys see a cassette tape on my desk? It is amazing the interesting things you find when you start poking in all the corners.
The Fine Print: Card parts and stamps by Club Scrap, crown brad from my stash. A very appropriate card all things considered.

I'm pretty good at making cards ahead of time . . . and then atrocious at actually writing in them and getting them posted. Hope you have both time and inclination to have some playtime at your desk this week! Happy WOYWW from Laura #60

Love that card, you're so good at putting stamps together! I laugh every time I see that bulb in your lamp, I hate bulb shopping since it got so complicated!!

I always have stuff to put away. Once a week (ha ha ha ha ha ha) I tidy up my space. My husband doesn't appreciate my couch zone spill over too much.

Thanks for sharing.

I like the dog card. Very cute. You sound like me - forgetting things and need reminders to keep you on track.

Ah yes, those cards we make well in advance, and then they hide until after the date.....
Love your card Princess J - a most appropriate brad on it, and wonderful sentiment

I still have cassettes and listen to them on occasion! What a hoot! Nice busy desk. Thanks for the visit! My eyes were dilated today so my vision is still a bit wonky. Happy WOYWW!

Haha, I was going to ask what a "pet stack" was, and then you said you made something using the pet paper. Since I don't have pets, I never noticed they had "pet stacks"!

I couldn't spot the cassette, so I don't have much of an eagle eye, I guess.
Thanks for the peek. #70

Ah, is your workspace finally in its 'new position'? If so, hoping everything went smoothly! I'd never noticed that light bulb til Julia mentioned it, not I'll see it everytime :-)
And I love that sentiment on the red card...wise words indeed.

Hi Judy. I have a crafting diary with all the birthdays listed and any projects that need to be done and the dates they have to be finished otherwise I would never get them completed on time. Mind you I easily get distracted. Thanks for the visit to mine and happy woyww (sorry it’s a bit late got tied up with that project again!) Happy crafting, Angela x 28

What a neat sentiment for a card. Love that! Yeah.. I have one of those lurking husbands. Same one for 32 years :-) Cassettes are a staple in my studio. Most of my favorite music still plays on them. Bought the new stereo for the office with a cassette player for the purpose. :-) Creative Blessings! Kelly #62

I had to show my hubby that he wasn´t the only hubby lurking around in the background... LOL

Have a nice weekend!
