Manly Cards

I puttered around this weekend and made some masculine birthday cards with kit parts.  I originally had plans to make them all the same (boring) but I decided to jazz things up a bit and change them around some.

The Fine Print: Card toppers and ribbon by Club Scrap "Orient Express" kit, gear brads from the Eyelet Outlet, train stamp by Stampers Anonymous, and fat staple by Fascinator.

Nice train stamp. The toppers have a very trendy painted/mixed media look, don't they?

These are really cool looking cards with that great train image and the hardware you added! The different color panels on the last card look amazing! Awesome creations, all 3 of them!

Now, you see, here is somewhere that I don't mind questioning this phrase we all use (I do it myself) - "masculine cards"... really? Is the card honestly manly? Or is it intended for a manly recipient?! I have the same problem with the signs on doors saying "Door Alarmed"... is it? Is it really alarmed? If so, what was it that alarmed it?

You can see why I feel at home here...

Fabulous cards, masculine or neutered (yes I do mean that). Think I need a rest.
