Green & Yella, Kiss a Fella

Yesterday I mentioned that I just happened to have a boy-friendly stamp set sitting out on my desk.  That's because I was bound and determined to use the frog out of it. And I did!
My embroidery floss comment yesterday made me pull it out again to wrap around the striped layer.  If you didn't rush out yesterday to buy some in every color, never fear!  Today is another day.  I'm really happy with how this card turned out. I'm especially tickled with the dots on the frog.  They are made with a blender pen. Hot damn! It almost looks like I know what I'm doing.

Since I used snippets (the designer paper and yellow cardstock) I'm going to hook up with Pixie's Playground to see whatever one else is up to.  Go check it out!  Use some of the newly purchased embroidery floss with your snippets and join in today!

The Fine Print: Frog stamp by Paper Smooches "Little Fella," designer paper snippets by KI Memories, eyelet square by Spellbinders, bling, flower, and big brad (swoon) from my stash.... Oh, just learned that American Crafts makes those big brads.  Buy some of those too!

Oh wow, Princess Judy! This is gorgeously cute and I love it! We had a lot of frogs in the garden yesterday after watering, but they weren't this cute!

What a prince! Great job with the blender pen too. You definitely DO know what you're doing! He's a cutie, and very well & truly colored green. Loved the touch of the floss (you do know you can custom color with your pens, right? ditto on pearls & rhinestones). Delightful card. TFS & Hugs.

Oh what a fun card Judy! LOVE the cute frog and the vibrant and really happy colours.

Guess what, I have almost every shade of embroidery floss here, left from cross stitching days - so a great tip!

When I saw this Green Frog Prince over at the Playground, I knew before I saw the name, that it was a PJ card! And I smiled too! It's darling; DH will see it and ask me why I don't do that!!! (He's a Frog Prince-but not green yet!) Well done on being highlited and on producing such a fun, happy & frolicky card. Happy 4th. TFS & Hugs
