February 14

It turns out that I still have some Valentine's cards to share with you all. I know this day gets some folks' undies in a wad, but I think my husband summed it up this morning, "This day, just like other holidays, is what you make of it."

Least you think my hubby says that because he has me, a single friend of mine also said today that everyone should do something they love with someone they love, even if it is just Netflix and chill with yourself.

The Fine Print: Designer papers, stamps, and dies by Stampin' Up and card bases by A Muse Studio.

Three lovely cards Judy and I especially like the background paper on the second card. Your friend sounds very wise. It must be a laugh a minute if your hubby has the same great humour you do. Mine makes me laugh every day but unfortunately I'm not so quick witted. Have a lovely day. Barbxx

These are really neat, Judy--love all the elements! I agree with your husband--really can't argue with a day promoting love which we certainly need! More than once a year is a good idea, too--haha!

I completely agree - one should always be able to celebrate love and affection. It's not the day itself which induces the wad for me, but having it constantly rammed down my throat commercially from the middle of January onwards (that's V-day being rammed, not the wad - just want to be clear on that). In any case, your cards are great - the black adds a nice touch of depth.
