Just Say NO!
The other day I decided to make a card. I looked around at my desk that had a bunch of remnants from Christmas/winter card making and I just said NO. NO way was I going to make another holiday themed or colored card. NO way was I going to make something frosty and wintery.
I don't care what the rest of y'all are doing. I'm going over here and gonna march to the beat of my own banjo. Here goes:
Lookie! It's a pink and green flying pig! How cool is that? And it isn't the least bit wintery or Christmasy. I feel that I have redeemed my soul.*

OINK!! I love him flying around like that and all. With no wings. and i hear ya on the holiday issue. I usually feel like that but since i made most of my holiday cards throughout the year this year, i kind of feel like i cheated myself. I have made about twenty in the last week though.
It's cute! I like the colors a lot! I mean to make a non holiday card soon, but I do need to finish the Christmas ones too! TFS!

This is so cute!!! Love the colors. You can't look at that pig and NOT smile! I actually love creating Christmas cards, I love everything about them but I this week, I too left the theme. I created my daughter a Christmas card that has NOTHING related to Christmas on it except for a maroon bow! It will be on my blog next Thursday. You will have to stop by!
