Sometimes I manage to amaze myself with a card I make. This one was one of those since I don't tend to do abstract or collage style well. Of course the secret is that the paper is doing all the work. It is some fun stuff that I have been hoarding for quite awhile.
As an added bonus I can join in with Mrs A's Butterfly and Flower Challenge this time around. Butterflies are such a fun and easy thing to make cards with and they can be used for all sorts of occasions. Meaning, why don't I use them more often? I don't know.
The Fine Print: Butterfly stamp by The Angel Company (RIP), flourish die by Cheery Lynn, and flower punch by EK Success. Sorry, don't know who makes that fabulous paper since I've now cut it all up.

Beeeeeeeeeeeeautiful hunny! Hugs xx
Gorgeous-- that is great paper, and the combo of butterfly and flourish is a real winner.
Oh YES! I LOVE this one PJ . . . right up my street.
Actually, until a few years ago, I NEVER put butterflies on my cards . . . but now I can't seem to stop! xxx
Love the little pop of yellow, very striking. Thanks for playing along at Butterfly Challenge #33. Glenda
Diamonds are a girls best friend so the saying goes and they look fabulous on this card. Love the big bold Butterfly and the colourway is not one that would spring to mind for me to use but I have to say I love it here. Thankyou for fluttering by #33. Hugs Mrs A.
PJ this is beautiful!!!
Love it!
And yep, let the paper do the work. Only way a collage will come from THIS craft room.
This is beautiful, Judy! Love everything about it! That butterfly looks amazing, and your paper is fabulous! I've always been fond of butterflies. When I first started making cards, it was cats and butterflies and nothing else. I actually haven't changed that much LOL!
Very pretty background and butterfly design.
Hugs Diane
This truly is fabulous paper, and I love the butterfly with the fun flourish and itty bitty flowers. Don't you just love those papers that do all the hard work for you?! Awesome :)
Oh this is so beautiful!
Golly, I'm glad you have the tiny thumbnails at the end of your post. I completely missed this beautiful card back then, and you deserve a huge A+ (and especially if this is not your style type). It's really a lovely card, with so much color & pattern, and all of it put together to compliment each element. Well done, AND you were able to add that scrumptious butterfly. TFS
