More April Birthdays

I just remembered that I didn't share the rest of the April birthday cards with y'all.  This one is made with one of those large stamps that I have mixed feelings about. I like design, I don't like that it is so large because in my mind that limits what I can do with it (and still have an A2 card).
Here I was using my new die from the Stamp Doctor to make these fancy flip top cards. I traced the opening and hand cut the designer paper to fit around it with a bit of a border.  Since I was crunched for time I made two very similar cards.

This card was a fun one to make with all its happy multicolored zig-zags in the background. I like seeing cards with random pearls on them for accents, but I couldn't quite make the leap to do it myself.  So you see here two lined up pearls and one unobtrusive one randomly off in the bottom right corner.
This dotted card made me smile with its cheery macrocephaliac girl on it. I love this card so much that I want to make another one for a friend who has a birthday this month.  The balloon was a die cut/punch that I was given but I'm sure I can rustle up another balloon for similar card.
The Fine Print: Card One-stamp by Penny Black, chevron punch by EK Success. Cards two and three-dog by Penny Black, greeting by Crafter's Companion, die by the Stamp Doctor, flower brad from my stash. Card Four-stamp by Crafter's Companion, fabulous new designer paper but I put it away so I can't tell you who makes it.  Card Five-All products except the balloon and Copic markers by A Muse Studio.

Oh my goodness! I love those puppy flip cards! And that cute cat looks like it's worried the dog is going to dump the cake on its head lol.

Great cards, love them all. The flip top ones are really cute, like that idea.

You sent me to google with macrocephaliac. Guess you made that up, since Google insisted I must mean microcephaliac, which is a word I never encountered before (not being of a medical background).
Like everyone else, I love those puppy cards with the unusual top.

Fun cards!!!! I LOVE the first one, there's a kitty in it, SO cute!

Your next two are adorable! I never would have guessed you hand cut the DP! You are a fabulous cutter!

Love the chevrons with the pup and kitty! Sweet sweet image!

I love that you added real ribbons to your girl on the last card! Great cards!

Card #1 - Kitty is waiting for mama to drop some crumbs
Card#2 - Poochy already knows what is in the package. Yum
Card #3 - Poochy is soon going to make a lot of shredded paper for what is in the package
Card #4 - Poochy stepped in something kitty left behind
Card #5 - Little girl left go of the balloon with glee over all of the fun things going on
The dummy typing all of this loves each and every card you shared.

Cute cards, all of them! I love the flip top cards - so clever and unique! Did the kitty on the first card take a bite of the girl's jeans? Too funny :)

Oh I like all of these! I bought that Stamp Dr die (and the changeout pieces!) You know, they are still very much a NBUS. One of these days. Yours turned out smashing. TFS & Hugs

I hear you on the too-big stamp! I tend to avoid buying those (I suppose that's a good thing?) Love those fun puppies, and what a cool die! And the macrocephalic girl....I laughed and then snorted. That was undignified.
