June Rudolph Days

I was going to post this yesterday but when I turned my computer on it said, "CPU Fan Error." Well, I figured that sounded dire and I didn't want the poor thing to overheat so back off it went. So until I get that fixed I'll use a rented mule borrowed computer.
I made this card for Scrappy Mo's Rudolph Days challenge to prove that I do indeed make Christmas cards. Although truth be told I tend to make Christmas card parts these days more than finished cards.

This one came about because I found the Wondrous Wreath die set in with my dies this past weekend. That confused me because I've never used the Wondrous Wreath stamp set before, and I love so I would totally use it if I had it, but why on earth would I have just the dies?! I had to do a lot of searching high and low before I found out that I do indeed own the stamp set to match. It was never used before because it wasn't in with the holiday stamps. That has all changed now.

The Fine Print: Wondrous Wreath stamps and matching die set by Stampin' Up, designer paper by DCWV, bling from my stash.

I like this alot -- using two green inks adds interest and depth.
Good luck with the fan issues. I had to buy a new computer not long ago because the old one kept overheating.

zThis card i sreally lovely. The wreath is great with the red jewels shining through. I do this this a very versatile stamp. With a change up of colours, this could be a Fall wreath or a spring one...

Thanks for taking part in the June Rudolph Days Challenge.
PS I too have lots of parts of cards...lol

How nice to find a long-forgotten stamp and die set! I love that torn edge of plaid peeking out on one side too! Nice job on this one........hopefully soon you can return the rented mule for a workhorse?

Good luck with the pc! Enjoyed a laugh at your adventure, cause it sounds a lot like what I do. You finished up a darling card, and I love this wreath (I think I have the same problem as you, but maybe I just bought the stamp set!) Anyway, it's pretty, and I'm glad you got a CCard all finished! TFS & thanks for a much needed chuckle this evening. Hugs
